Step 1: BTET online registration

• Visit the official website of BSEB and click on “Register online for BTET 2021”.

• To register, mention name, age, active mobile number and valid email address.

• After following these steps, candidates will complete the BTET registration successfully.

• An email with BTET activation link will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID.

• A username and password will be given in the link.

• Visit the official website, login using the credentials and reset password and set a new one.

After completing the BTET registration process, candidates will have to proceed by filling the Bihar TET 2021 application form in detail. The following details will have to be filled in the next step -

• Candidate’s name

• Father's and mother's name, job details, age, mobile number, address and academic details

• Residence phone number

• Residence address

• Permanent address and correspondence address

• Click on “Pay application fee”.

• There are two options to pay the fee online and offline.

• In online options candidates can pay the application fee by debit/credit card.

BTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can only apply for BTET. The eligibility criteria is defined on the official notification PDF of Bihar TET. The eligibility criteria for BTET consists of the age, nationality and academic qualifications required to fill the online application form.

Bihar TET Age Criteria

• Minimum age limit to apply for BTET is 21 years

• Maximum age limit is 35 years.

• Age relaxation for female/SC/ST/OBC candidates is 5%

Nationality

Only Indian nationals with a domicile certificate of Bihar state can apply for the BTET exam.

Educational Criteria

For Teachers I-V classes (Paper-1)

Candidates must qualify class 10 with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent. Students appearing in the final four year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.ED)/2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/2 year D.Ed in Special Education can also apply. Candidates who have qualified B.SC/ BA/ Degree with a score of 50% marks and B.ED qualification candidates can also apply.

For teachers VI-VIII Classes (Paper-2)

Candidates with B.Sc /BA/ Degree and those appearing in final year in B.Sc/ D.ED/BA/ course with aggregate of 45% marks and passed/appearing in Senior Secondary /B.ED with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final four years B.EI.ED / 4 years BA/B.SC, B.ED or BA (ED)/BSC.(ED)/B.ED (Special Education) with a score of 50% marks in B.Sc /BA or are eligible.

BTET Admit Card 2021

BSEB releases the admit card of Bihar TET 2021 on the official website. The admit card is issued to only those candidates who have successfully submitted the Bihar TET 2021 application form. BTET admit card will be released at least 15 days before the exam. The admit card will consist of the details like scanned photograph and signature of the candidate, name of candidate, date of birth, roll number, registration, exam day instructions, Date & time and venue of the examination.
