What is CTET?

CBSE conducts the CTET twice every year in July and December. Candidates who wish to apply for the post of teachers in government schools for classes I to V will have to appear for paper-I and those who wish to become teachers of Class VI to VIII will have to take paper-II.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

It is important for candidates to meet the eligibility criteria of CTET 2021. Candidates who are not able to fulfill the eligibility criteria of CTET will be disqualified. There is no upper age limit in order to apply for CTET 2021. However, candidates need to have the educational qualification as per the CTET eligibility criteria 2021. The educational qualification for Paper I and Paper II will be different.

  • Nationality - Indian

Educational Qualifications for CTET 2021

CTET Paper-I

Candidate who had secured minimum 50 percent in high school; passed or participated in a two-year primary education diploma program

Candidate with minimum aggregate of 45% marks in high school; 2-year Diploma Course in elementary education in compliance with the NCTE (Recognition and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.

Students with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in high school; Passed or appearing in the final year of a 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

50% marks in high school; Passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education)

50% marks in graduation; Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

CTET Paper-II

Graduation; Passed or appearing in a 2-year diploma course in elementary education

50% in graduation; Passed or appearing for a 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

45% marks in graduation; Passed or appearing in a 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard

CTET Application Form 2021

The CTET exam authority will release the application form of CTET 2021 in online mode on the official website. Candidates must fill all the important details in the UPTET online form 2021 such as personal, contact and academic details. The procedure of CTET application form will be complete after the submission of application fee Rs 1000 for general category candidates while Rs 500 for reserved categories. The UPTET online form submitted without paying the application fees will be disqualified.

CTET Exam Centres 2021

CBSE will release the list of CTET exam centre along with the notification of CTET 2021. Candidates who want to apply for the CTET 2021 exam can choose the exam centre of CTET 2021 while filling the application form of CTET 2021. It is important to choose the exam centre nearest to your hometown to avoid the risk of getting infected from any infection. It is mandatory to wear the mask at the exam centre of CTET 2021. Candidates must choose the CTET exam centre carefully as the authority will not provide the option to change the CTET exam centre once the application form of CTET 2021 will be submitted.

CTET Admit Card 2021

CBSE will release the admit card of CTET 15 days prior to the CTET 2021 exam. The admit card will be available in the online mode and can be downloaded using the registration number and date of birth. The admit card of CTET 2021 will contain all the important details of candidates and CTET 2021 exam day. Candidates appearing for CTET 2021 exam are advised to carry the CTET admit card 2021 along with a valid photo identification card (original and photocopy) at the exam centre of CTET. If nor, they are not allowed to enter the exam venue of CTET 2021.

CTET Answer Key 2021

CBSE will release the answer key of CTET after the CTET 2021 exam. The answer key of CTET will be released in two stages. Primary, the provisional answer key of CTET 2021 will be released. Candidates will get the facility to raise the objection against the provisional answer key in case of discrepancy. After reviewing the objections raised by candidates, a final answer key will be released which will be the final decision of exam authority.

CTET Result 2021

CBSE will release the CTET result 2021 in online mode tentatively 20 days after the CTET 2021 exam. Candidates can visit the official website and download their result of CTET 2021 using the CTET roll number. CTET Cutoff 2021

CTET cutoff marks are the minimum marks needed to pass the test. Candidates who do not meet the minimum cutoff will not be considered for CTET 2021. In order to apply, candidates must obtain a score of at least 60% or higher. Candidates in the reserved group which are given a break on the cutoff percentage.

CTET 2021: Eligibility Certificate

CTET eligibility certificates will be given to candidates who qualify CTET 2021. Candidates with these certificates will be eligible to work as teachers in schools around the country in grades I through VIII. From the date of issuance, the certificate will be valid for a lifetime. The certificate will be provided in digital format through digilocker.
