CTET Application Form 2021 - The Central Board of Secondary Education had activated the CTET application form correction window on October 28. The last date to make corrections in CTET 2021 application form was November 3, 2021. Earlier, CBSE has closed the CTET online registration process on October 25, 2021 and window to pay the application fees for CTET form 2021 on October 26, 2021. Earlier, CBSE has activated the link to remove image discrepancy in the CTET 2021 application form. The CBSE has activated the CTET 2021 (December 2021) session application form and have also released the detailed CTET notification 2021.

CBSE had released the CTET 2021 application form on September 20. Read the article to get more detailed information about the CTET application form 2021, steps to fill CTET 2021 application form, documents required and more. To complete the CTET 2021 application form applicants will have to upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature, and those who belong to the general/obc ncl category they will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000 for one paper and Rs. 1200 for both. Candidates from reserved and differently abled category will have to pay Rs 500 for one paper and Rs 600 for both the papers. CTET exam is conducted twice for recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 8.

Step 1: Fill the CTET Registration formThe first step to filling CTET 2021 application form is to complete the registration process. Candidates will have to click the CTET registration link given on the CTET official website - www.ctet.nic.in 2021 application form.

Setting CTET Password

After entering the above-given details, candidates will have to select their CTET 2021 password as per their preference. Candidates must note that this password will be used for all future activities related to the exam. Here are some basic guidelines to set your CTET 2021 password:

  • The length of the Password must be between 8 to 13 characters.

  • CTET 2021 Password must contain at least one Upper case, one lower case alphabet and one numeric value and at least one special character!@#$%^&*-.

  • Candidate are allowed to change their passwords after login if needed.

  • The new password for the CTET application form 2021 should not be identical to the previous three passwords.

  • The password should not disclosed to anyone as the authorities will not be responsible for the misuse of the password

  • At the end of each session, candidates must log out so that the content of the CTET 2021 application form are not tampered

Once the candidate has finished with entering all the required details and setting their password, they should fill in the security pin in the given box and then click on the submit button. Upon successful submission of all the details candidates will be given their CTET 2021 application number on their registered email address and mobile number.

Step 2: Filling up the detailed CTET application form 2021

After completing the CTET 2021 registration process candidates can move onto the filling the detailed CTET 2021 application form. For filling the CTE 2021 form candidates will be required to login to their account using their application number and password.

Choose the Paper for which the candidate is applying for

All those who are planning to appear for the CTET 2021 exam, they have the option to either appear in both the papers or in one paper. Hence while filling the CTET application form, candidates will have the following options:

  • Choose Paper 1 of CTET exam if one wants to apply for becoming teacher for classes I to V
  • Choose paper 1 of CTET examination if one wants to apply for becoming teacher for classes s VI to VIII
  • Choose both the papers if one wants to apply for becoming teacher for the both i.e.classes I to V and VI to VIII

Selection of CTET 2021 Exam Centres

Also candidates must choose at least 4 CTET exam centres while filling the application form and it has to be in accordance with preference. If the candidates at a particular exam centre are less, then in such a case CBSE will have the right to not conduct the exam at the centre where there are not sufficient candidates.

Medium of language of the CTET question paper

While filling the CTET 2021 application form, candidates can select two languages in which they want to appear for the CTET exam 2021. The list of languages along with the cod are given below in the table.

Candidates must ensure that the language II that is selected by them is different from language I and candidates should attempt the questions in the language which they had opted for and what has been mentioned in the CTET admit card 2021. If the candidates attempt the questions in any other language then their candidature will be cancelled.

Step 3: Uploading scanned photograph and signature

After entering all the above given details, candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the CBSE. Candidates need to click on the “Upload” button to upload their CTET photograph and signature.

It is mandatory to upload the scanned image of latest photograph in the CTET application form so as to avoid inconvenience at centre. The photograph uploaded in the CTET form will be matched with the actual candidate appearing in the examination.

Step 4: Payment of CTET application fee paymentThe final step in the CTET application process is the payment of the requisite application fee. Candidates applying for the CTET examination will have the option of paying the CTET form 2021 fee in online or offline mode. Mode of payment of application fees for CTET 2021

Candidates can pay the fees for the CTET application form by using any of the following modes that are listed below:

Step 5 : Print the confirmation page

Once the candidates have paid the fees they are required to take print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

What if the CTET 2021 confirmation page is not generated?

Once the candidate has filled all the details in the CTET form 2021 and have paid the fees, the confirmation page will be generated. Candidates must take a print out of the confirmation page and keep it with them safely for future reference. In case, the confirmation page for the CTET 2021 exam is not generated after paying the application fee, then in such a case, the candidate can get in touch with the CTET Deputy Secretary, CBSE between 10:00 AM-5:00 PM, along with the copy of e-challan or payment slip. The Central Board of Secondary Education prescribes the CTET 2021 eligibility criteria which the candidates must check before they fill the CTET application form. The CTET eligibility comprises the educational qualifications, marks scored at the graduation level and related exams for candidates belonging to different categories, age and nationality which the candidates must meet the CTET eligibility to fill the CTET 2021 application form.
