Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts the Clerk exam in online mode to recruit candidates for Clerical cadre in various states for public sector banks. The IBPS Clerk 2021 exam is conducted in two stages - prelims and mains. Candidates who qualify the IBPS Clerk 2021 exam will get a salary of Rs 11,765 as basic pay along with other allowances. As per IBPS Clerk official notification, candidates who are shortlisted in the final IBPS Clerk 2021 merit list will be allotted banks as per merit cum preference basis.

IBPS has the right to cancel any of the IBPS exam centres where the entrance test is to be conducted if there are not adequate number of candidates. Candidates who get shortlisted in the provisional allotment will get the minimum basic pay of IRs 11765. However, with years of experience, an IBPS clerk can earn up to Rs 31540 in basic salary.
