How to use UPSC Civil Services Answer Key 2022 to calculate score?

As per the marking scheme, for the correct answer in General Studies Paper 1, candidates will score 2 marks while it is 2.5 marks for GS Paper 2. For incorrect answers in both papers, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

UPSC Civil Services 2022 Qualifying Marks

The examination authority decides qualifying marks for General Studies Studies Paper II which is 33%. There is no qualifying marks for General Studies Paper I. Candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks to pass Paper II. Besides the qualifying marks, UPSC also determines the overall UPSC Civil Services cut off for the preliminary exam on the basis of General Studies (GS) Paper I only.
