Union Public Service Commission will release UPSC ESE application form 2025 on September 18, 2024 in the official website at upsc.gov.in. The UPSC ESE application forms have to be filled out in online mode with a registration fee of Rs 200.

Candidates are also required to upload scanned copies of their photos and signatures for the successful submission of the UPSC ESE application. Female applicants and reserved categories are exempted from paying the UPSC ESE application fee.

  1. An Engineering degree from a University listed under the Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions listed under the Act of Parliament

  2. A degree/diploma in Engineering from such a foreign University/College and recognised by the Government.

  3. Cleared Sections A and B of the Exams of the Institution of Engineers in India.

UPSC ESE Selection Process 2025

The UPSC ESE 2025 selection process involves three steps, including prelims examination, mains and a final interview. The ESE Prelims will be out of 500 marks, the mains out of 600 and the interview out of 200 marks. The final marks of the candidate is calculated out of 1300 marks and the shortlisted candidates become eligible for the various posts under the UPSC ESE 2025.

However, a senior officer after 3-5 years of experience is given a raise making their UPSC ESE salary Rs 67700 - 208700.
