UPSC conducts the CSE exam. The full form of UPSC IAS is Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Indian Administrative Services (IAS) exam. IAS is one of the 24 services that comes under Civil Services Examination (CSE). Union Public Service Commission released the UPSC IAS result 2021 for prelims stage on the official website on October 29, 2021. UPSC IAS result has been released in PDF having roll numbers and names of all the qualified candidates. Applicants can also download their UPSC scorecard 2021 from the official website, few days after the announcement of the final UPSC IAS result 2021. Along with the declaration of the final IAS result, candidates can also check official UPSC IAS cut off for all the stages of the exam.
UPSC prescribes the minimum qualifying cutoff marks for the UPSC IAS 2021 exam. The UPSC IAS cut off 2021 is the minimum marks required to qualify a particular stage of the IAS exam and move to the next one. The Commission will release the UPSC IAS cut off marks separately for each stage of the CSE exam 2021. UPSC IAS final merit list will be declared on the basis of applicants performance in mains exam and personal interview. UPSC has released the UPSC IAS 2021 prelims admit card in September 16, 2021. Candidates who submitted the IAS application form successfully can download the admit card from the official website till October 10, 2021. To download the admit card applicants have to use their UPSC registration ID and date of birth. The details mentioned in the IAS admit card 2021 are candidate personal details, exam day guidelines, IAS exam city and others. Candidates must bring one valid photo identity card along with the IAS admit card at the examination venue. In case of any discrepancy in the UPSC IAS 2021 admit card, candidates can contact the exam conducting authority at least one week before the commencement of the IAS examination.

The UPSC IAS selection process 2021 has three stages - preliminary exam, mains exam and interview. The salary of an IAS is determined by the Union Public Service Commission based on the 7th pay commission. The salary of an IAS officer is made of various components like basic pay, grade pay, HRA, DA, TA, medical allowances and various other allowances. At the start of the service the salary of an IAS officer is Rs 56,100 plus allowances and perks. With time and promotion the IAS salary is increased to Rs 2,50,000 (approx.). The salary of an IAS officer is not that great but its the prestige and respect that the post has attracts many applicants.
Union Public Service Commission prescribes the IAS eligibility criteria in the official notification. The eligibility criteria of UPSC IAS comprises Nationality, UPSC age limit, educational qualification and number of attempts. UPSC Civil Services 2021 application withdrawal window was active from March 31, to April 6, 2021. Applicants who wished to withdraw their application were could have done so between above mentioned time period. The Commission had released the UPSC IAS 2021 application form on March 4. Candidates were able fill the UPSC IAS application form 2021 at the UPSC official website. The UPSC IAS application from had two parts. For part 1 applicants needed to complete UPSC IAS registration 2021 process. After the successful registration for part 2 candidates could proceed to fill the IAS application form 2021. Along with the application form, candidates also needed to upload scanned images of photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the UPSC. The UPSC prelims application fee for the General category is Rs. 100/- while reserved category candidates are exempted from payment of a fee.
How to fill UPSC IAS application form 2021?
Step 1 - Visit the UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in.
Step 2 - Search for the UPSC IAS 2021 notification link and click on it.
Step 3 - A new screen will be open, click on the Click Here button.
Step 4 - Follow the steps as mentioned on the screen to fill the IAS form.
Step 5 - Upload the relevant documents.
Step 6 - Pay the UPSC IAS application fee.
Step 7 - Click Submit for final submission of the UPSC CSE 2021 form.
Union Public Service Commission has released the updated list of UPSC IAS exam centre on July 09, 2021. As per the notice, UPSC has added four new exam centres for prelims exam of CSE and IFoS. UPSC has added Almora in Uttarakhand, Srinagar in Uttarakhand, Nasik in Maharashtra and Surat in Gujarat as the exam centres. Earlier, Leh was added as a new city where the prelims exam was to be held. As per the UPSC IAS 2021 notification PDF, the prelims exam was conducted in 77 cities while the mains exam will be conducted in 24 cities. Candidates are asked to fill the UPSC IAS exam centre choice in the application form while applying. UPSC does not provide a correction window for changing the centre choice after the conclusion of the UPSC IAS application process.
