BITSAT 2021 - BITS Pilani has extended the last date to complete BITSAT 2021 slot booking till July 27. Earlier, the conducting authority has announced the BITSAT 2021 exam dates. BITSAT 2021 will be conducted from August 3 to 9, 2021. The authorities have commenced the BITSAT 2021 slot booking from July 17. Candidates can now download their BITSAT admit cards after completing the slot booking process.Class 12th students having PCM/B as major subjects are eligible to appear in BITSAT 2021 exam. Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences conducts BITSAT 2021 for admissions into various B.Tech courses. BITSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the BITSAT exam 2021, candidates are always advised to first assure their eligibility for the exam and further admissions. It reflects the basic requirements that the candidate should have for the programme they are going to apply for as shown in the table below:

BITSAT Admission For Board Toppers

The authorities have provided a special provision for the class 12 toppers of the various state as well as central boards of education which makes them exempt from appearing for the BITSAT exam. However, such students are only exempted from BITSAT 2021 and not from the other eligibility criteria.

BITSAT 2021 Application Form

The authorities started the BITSAT registration on February 23 in online mode. The final BITSAT 2021 application form date was extended till July 7.

Steps to fill BITSAT Application Form 2021

Candidates may refer to the steps mentioned below for filling the BITSAT 2021 application form:

  1. Visit the BITSAT 2021 form official website at bitsadmission.com and click to register.

  2. Enter the basic personal and academic details while filling the application form

  3. Candidates will be required to upload scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format

  4. The next step requires candidates to pay the application fee in online mode through credit card/ debit card/ online banking or even in offline mode

BITSAT 2021 Exam Centres

BITS Pilani has released the names of cities wherein there are various exam conducting centres. While filling the BITSAT exam form, candidates are required to opt the cities in the order of their preference only for appearing in the BITSAT 2021 exam. Once the slots are booked by candidates, the BITSAT admit card that shows on the screen shall contain the BITSAT 2021 exam centre so allotted to the candidate.

BITSAT Slot Booking 2021

BITS, Pilani has commenced BITSAT slot booking from July 17. The authorities do not conduct the BITSAT 2021 exam on a single day but the exam is conducted in several days and slots. Thus, registered candidates have to choose the preferred slot for appearing in the BITSAT exam. The slot so booked by candidates shall reflect in the admit card that follows the BITSAT slot booking process. It may be noted that slot booking shall be allowed on a ‘first come first serve’ basis only, therefore, registered candidates should not delay and book the slots quickly when the BITSAT 2021 slot booking commences.

Registered candidates who successfully book slots online can now download the BITSAT admit card from the website. The BITSAT 2021 admit card shall contain various important details related to the candidate as shown below:

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus

Knowing the BITSAT syllabus is necessary for candidates who are going to appear for this entrance examination. The BITSAT 2021 syllabus contains all the major topics and the sub-topics to be covered under Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Almost all the concepts so pointed in the BITSAT 2021 syllabus shall comprise of those from the NCERT curriculum of class 11 and 12. BITSAT 2021 Result

The authorities announce BITSAT results online through the official website. Although the BITSAT 2021 result is announced in two steps, wherein firstly the score obtained by candidates along with the number of correctly and incorrectly responded questions is mentioned after the exam is conducted.

However, being aware of personal performance in BITSAT 2021 shall not be of much help for candidates unless they get to know if they have qualified the exam and if they are eligible for admission or not. Thus the authorities release the list of candidates eligible for admissions which is called a ‘waitlist or admission list’.

BITSAT 2021 Cutoff

The authorities release the cutoff marks for BITSAT which reflect the minimum marks that a candidate has to score in order to be eligible for admission in the participating institutes. The BITSAT 2021 cutoff will be announced after each of the iteration rounds and this will be followed by the institute wise cutoff marks.

The various factors considered for releasing the BITSAT cutoff include the previous year’s cutoff, difficulty level of the exam, total number of candidates registered, total number of seats offered, and so on. It may be noted that the cutoff marks may vary for the different course as well as the institute opted for candidates. Those who have marks above the cutoff marks stand a higher chance of admission through BITSAT 2021.

BITSAT 2021 Counselling and Seat Allotment

After the result is announced, the authorities open up the online registration portal for BITSAT counselling and seat allotment. A valid BITSAT score is a basic eligibility for participating in the counselling process and candidates will be required to enter their choice of courses and campus for admission. As the process is done in online mode, candidates will also be required to take a print out of their choices after registration and send the other documents to the concerned authorities. As there are six rounds of BITSAT 2021 counselling conducted, allotment of seats is made depending upon candidates’ performance in BITSAT 2021 and also the availability of seats in the course and institute so preferred by the candidates.
