Detailed information about the BITSAT 2021 exam is provided through the exam pattern of BITSAT. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the BITSAT 2021 exam pattern before commencing their preparation process. This will allow them to be familiar with the pattern which will in turn allow the candidates to have an upper hand during the examination since they will know the particulars related to it.

Marking Scheme

3 marks will be given for every correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect responses and no marks will be given for unattempted questions.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2021- Highlights

  • BITSAT 2021 exam is an online or computer based test.
  • As per the BISAT exam patter, 4 options will be given for each question. Candidates will have to select the one correct answer.
  • Candidates will be allowed to change their answer anytime during the examination.
  • There will be no time limit for every section of the test. The time limit will be collective.
  • The question sets for each slot will be different since it will be drawn from a large question bank.
  • Candidates will be able to answer 12 additional questions if they are able to complete the examination i.e., attempt all 150 questions without skipping within 3 hours. The extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. It should be noted that once a candidate opts to attempt the extra questions, they cannot go back to the previous 150 questions.
  • The scores will be immediately displayed after the examination is over to maintain transparency.
  • Candidates will also be able to check the score in online mode a day after the examination. Print out of the scores can also be taken.

BITSAT 2021 Marking Scheme

To select the most eligible candidates, BITS pilani will follow a marking scheme. The marks will be awared as per the marking scheme mentioned in the BITSAT 2021 exam pattern. Below is the marking scheme

  • Each Correct Answer: +3 Marks
  • Each Incorrect Answer: -1 Mark
  • Unattempted Questions: 0 Mark
  • Exam Medium: English

BITSAT 2021 Mock Test

To know complete and accurate BITSAT exam pattern, candidates are suggested to solve the mock test of BITSAT exam. Solving the last year's question papers and mock test helps in understanding the type of question asked in the exam. Previous year's papers can also be treated as BITSAT sample paper 2021 to evaluate the exam preparation.

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus

During the preparation period, the candidates are advised to check the syllabus along with BITSAT exam pattern 2021 to prepare a good study strategy.
