GATE 2022 - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has started the GATE 2022 correction facility on November 1 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Applicants can make corrections in GATE application form 2022 till November 15 with late fee. The authorities have cancelled Panipat, Sonepat and Idukki exam cities. Candidates choosing these GATE 2022 exam cities, can change their cities during correction without paying any additional fee. The exam conducting authority will conduct the GATE 2022 exam in online mode on February 5, 6, 12, and 13.IIT KGP had informed GATE applicants regarding scrutiny defects in the application forms. Students had to rectify the errors in the application at the earliest, preferably within 2 days of receipt of email or SMS. The authorities concluded the GATE 2022 registration on October 7 online at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Before filling the application form, candidates were advised to GATE exam eligibility criteria 2022. This year, two new GATE 2022 papers - Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering are added making the total GATE subject papers to be 29. IIT Kharagpur has decreased the exam centres in various zones for GATE 2022 exam. Candidates willing for M.Tech admission, other PG courses or PSU recruitment through GATE may find their eligibility for GATE exam 2022.

IIT Kharagpur has started the GATE application form 2022 correction at the official website. Candidates have to login at GOAPS 2022 portal to make corrections. Registered candidates can use the facility of GATE 2022 application form correction to rectify the defects. Candidates are allowed to make changes in name, DOB, contact, university or degree. IIT Kharagpur has announced the eligibility criteria applicable for candidates appearing for GATE exam 2022. Candidates need to comply with the GATE eligibility requirements for admissions through GATE 2022 as provided below.
Nationality - GATE 2022 candidates should be citizens of India. Candidates from other countries can apply for the GATE exam 2022 if they meet the given eligibility criteria.

IIT Kharagpur had released the GATE application form 2022 on September 2. The last date of application without a late fee was September 30. However, candidates were able to apply online till October 7 by paying a late fee. GATE 2022 registration portal was activated by IIT Kharagpur in online mode only. Candidates had to provide their personal, academic and other details while filling the GATE 2022 application form. They were also need to upload their photograph, signature and category certificate (for reserved categories).

IIT Kharagpur has released the syllabus for GATE 2022 in online mode. The GATE syllabus 2022 comprises subjects and topics that candidates will have to study to prepare for the exam. The GATE 2022 syllabus of each paper is different, thus, candidates will have to check according to the discipline that they select. Candidates may note that the General Aptitude section has to be prepared by all as it is compulsory for every GATE 2022 paper.
IIT Kharagpur shall release the mock test of GATE 2022 on the official website. Through the mock test of GATE, the candidates will get familiar with the GATE exam pattern 2022. It is a simulation of the real exam and will help candidates in preparing for the upcoming examination. Authorities release separate mock tests for all the papers conducted by them. GATE 2022 mock test will be 3 hours long and will consist of objective type questions.
The authorities shall release GATE 2022 question paper online on the official after the exam is concluded. However, various coaching institutes will be releasing unofficial GATE question papers on the exam day itself. Candidates appearing for GATE 2022 should refer to the previous year question papers to understand the style of questions asked in the examination. IIT Kharagpur shall release GATE answer keys online on the official website. First, the provisional GATE 2022 answer key will be released which shall be subject to objections by candidates who appeared in the exam. After considering the candidate challenges, the final GATE answer key will be released by the authorities. IIT Kharagpur shall prepare GATE 2022 results based on the final answer key.
IIT Kharagpur shall release candidate response sheets for GATE 2022 online on the official website. The GATE response sheet 2022 will be available a few days after the exam is concluded. Candidates will have to log in using their enrolment ID and password for GATE response sheet download. It allows candidates to know their responses in the examination for each question in GATE exam 2022.
The concerned authorities at IIT Kharagpur shall declare GATE 2022 result online on the official website. Candidates will have to login using their enrolment ID/ email and password to access the GATE result 2022. The qualifying GATE cutoff will be mentioned along with the candidate details and marks scored.

The conducting authorities announce qualifying GATE marks for each paper. It serves as the GATE 2022 cutoff marks which the candidates should have obtained in order to be considered qualified in the exam. The counselling process for GATE exam 2022 will not be conducted by the exam conducting authority, i.e. IIT Kharagpur. GATE COAP and CCMT portals have to be used for counselling purposes. Those candidates who are interested in IIT admissions will be able to use a common portal which is GATE COAP. For NIT admissions, the candidates can register through CCMT.
GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a common portal activated for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) only. GATE 2022 qualified candidates interested in IIT admissions to M.Tech have to apply through GATE COAP 2022 portal.
