What is GATE?
GATE full form is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is a national-level entrance examination conducted once a year. Candidates must be aware of the GATE full form as it highlights its significance as a gateway for students aiming for admission to postgraduate programs across top institutes in India. As per the GATE full form the entrance exam will be held for various disciplines including Engineering, Arts, Science, Humanities and Architecture. IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee) conduct the GATE exam on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB). GATE 2025

The authority will update the link to download the GATE admit cards on the GATE GOAPS portal. Students will have to use their enrollment/email ID and password. GATE 2025 Result
The authority has announced the GATE 2025 result date online. As per the notification, the GATE 2025 result will be announced on March 19, 2025. The results for GATE 2025 will be made available online once the exam is conducted. To check your GATE result, candidates will need to

GATE 2025 Scorecard
IIT Roorkee will release the GATE scorecard 2025 on March 28, 2025, on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Qualifying candidates have to download the scorecard for further use in the admission process. The GATE scorecard will include details such as candidates' marks, All India Rank (AIR), GATE qualifying marks and more. The GATE score validity is three years from the date of announcement of the GATE result. Candidates can download the GATE scorecards for free from March 28 to May 31, 2025. After this period, candidates will be able to download the GATE 2025 scorecard by paying Rs 500 per test paper.

GATE 2025 Cutoff

GATE 2025 Toppers
IIT Roorkee will release the list of GATE toppers 2025 on the official website. Candidates can check the GATE toppers list to know the names of toppers, their marks and scores in the entrance examination. GATE 2025 Counselling
Candidates who qualify for the GATE exam will need to use the GATE COAP and CCMT portals for counselling. The GATE counselling 2025 will be conducted for candidates seeking admission to prestigious institutes. After the GATE 2025 results are announced, the participating institutes will release their admission notifications with details about the admission process.
Eligible candidates can then apply for admission to their preferred institute by following the process specified by the institute. The admission process will include various stages like application, shortlisting, test/interview, and document verification. GATE CCMT
CCMT full form is Centralised Counselling for admission to the M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan program. Admissions into the participating NITs and GFTIs are done through CCMT 2025. Candidates who seek admission through GATE CCMT have to complete the online registration. Admission to various CCMT 2025 participating institutes will be based on the GATE exam results. The authorities will conduct three regular rounds of GATE CCMT 2025, two special rounds and an additional spot round of counselling.
GATE COAP
GATE 2025 COAP is a portal where candidates can check the results and seat allotment for admission into PG engineering programs at various participating institutes. Through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), candidates can get admission into IITs and IISc Bangalore. IIT aspirants must register at COAP for admission to M.Tech courses apart from applying at the respective institutes. Once the seat allotment is done during COAP counselling 2025, candidates will have to confirm the seat allotment with options from “Accept and Freeze”, “Retain and Wait”, “Reject and Wait” and “Reject".
