Gujarat Diploma Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of Gujarat Diploma Admission 2024 before applying. Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of Gujarat Admission 2024 as final allotment will not be done if candidates do not meet the prescribed criteria. Qualifying Exam - A candidate should have passed
Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class 10 ) with Mathematics, Science and English or equivalent examination, or
Class 10 with Mathematics, Science and English along with two years of certificate courses conducted by NCVT or GCVT or IGTR
Class 10 along with Two years certificate course conducted by the Technical Examination Board (TEB)
Class 8 along with a certificate course of two or more years conducted by NCVT or GCVT (provided the candidate have passed the Std X examination from the Gujarat Board or Open Schooling with subjects (i) Mathematics, (ii) Science (iii) Gujarati and (iv) English or equivalent examination.)

The candidate has done schooling under the Jawaharlal Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme up to class VIII in an institute located in the State of Gujarat.
A candidate who has passed the qualifying exam from CBSE or ICSE or the International School Board or NIOS or Sanskrit Pathshala will be eligible only when the institute the candidate has studied at is located in:
the state of Gujarat.

Candidates must meet any of the following criteria to be eligible for admission
The parent (s) of the candidate is residing out of Gujarat but is of Gujarati origin and has passed the qualifying exam from the state.
The parent (s) of the candidate is of Gujarati origin but resides out of India and has also passed the qualifying exam from outside India.
The parent (s) of the candidate is of Gujarati origin and serving outside the state for the central or other state government, Armed forces, etc.

Class 10/equivalent exam marksheet/certificate.
School Leaving certificate.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), should submit their caste certificates issued by the Government.
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, which is issued by the authority of the Gujarat Government.
A physically handicapped candidate should submit the Certificate of Physical Disability which is issued and signed by the Civil Surgeon/Medical Authority.
Ex-Serviceman certificate should be issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
In-Serviceman Certificate should be issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit.
If the candidate is a certificate holder, he/she should submit the mark sheet issued by TEB or ITI or IGTR.

Step by Step Guide to Fill Gujarat Diploma Admission 2024
Step 1- Registration: Candidates should visit the official website and click on the registration link. Follow the given steps to complete the registration process.

The candidate will be redirected to the page. Select a course to apply from:
First-year diploma after SSC
First-year diploma after TEB
First-year diploma after ITI
Enter the security code displayed on the screen.
Click on “New Registration”.
After this, candidates will be redirected to the registration form link, where they have to enter the following details-
Personal Details - Here, candidates will have to enter their name, date of birth, gender, name of parents, course applied, aadhaar details, etc.
Contact Details - Here, candidates will have to enter their address including city, state, pin code, mobile number and email ID.
Booklet Details- Here, the candidates have to enter the PIN serial number and 14-digit PIN of the booklet purchased from the ICICI bank branch.
Choose Password - After all the details have been entered by the candidate, he/she will have to choose a password and confirm it for creating an account.
After this, candidates will have to select a security question and set its answer and finally submit registration details. After successful registration, One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the candidate's registered mobile number. Candidates will have to enter the OTP to generate login ID. Once, the login ID is created, candidates have to enter the following details
Reservation Details - Candidates have to enter their category, sub-category, category certificate number, TFW scheme (if applicable), family income details, address of school from which the qualifying exam is passed, and board.
Qualifying Exam Details- After this, candidates have to enter the roll number/seat number of qualifying exam along with the passing month & year.
Enter the security code- Finally, candidates will have to enter the percentage of marks, school index number, subject-wise marks and total marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Step 2- Payment of Application Fee: Candidates should next pay the application fee of Rs. 200 through debit card, net banking or demand draft. The candidates can pay the application fee through the Demand Draft. The DD must be accepted by the Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat State.
Gujarat Diploma Admission 2024 - Document Verification
Once the candidates complete their registration, they will be required to take a printout of the registration form and submit it at the designated Help Centre of Gujarat Diploma Admission 2024. Candidates will also have to submit copies of his/her documents/certificates along with the registration form. Candidates should take all their documents in original for the process of document verification. It should be noted that the printout of the registration form and copies of documents must be self-attested by the candidates.
Gujarat Diploma Merit List 2024
The ACPDC released the merit list of Gujarat diploma admission on July 4, 2024. The admission committee released a provisional merit list. Students will be allowed to fill choices of colleges based on provisional merit for mock allotment. Based on the mock allotment, candidates can change their preference of choices up to a certain period. The admission committee will then release a final merit list. Only the candidates who have their names on the final merit list will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling process for the actual allotment rounds.

How Merit list is prepared on basis of class 10 marks
The merit list of Gujarat diploma admission 2024 after the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination will be prepared by considering the marks of the candidate secured in the following three subjects in class X- (The total marks considered are 300 marks)
Mathematics
Science
English
In case of a tie between the merit of two or more candidates in the SSC exam, the following rules will be followed:
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Science will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Mathematics & English will be given higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks in Science & English will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, older candidates will be given a higher rank.
How merit list is prepared on basis of ITI & TEB
In the case of certificate holders (ITI Or TEB), the merit list of Gujarat diploma admission 2024 is prepared by considering the total marks obtained by the candidate in theory paper in the final year examination of the Certificate Course, after converting the total marks to 300.
In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the following rule will be followed:
Candidates with the higher total percentage of marks in practicals for TEB Certificate Holders or the percentage of marks obtained in Trade Practicals in the case of ITI Certificate Holders will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with a higher overall percentage of marks will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks obtained in Mathematics in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks obtained in Science in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given a higher rank.
If a tie still persists, candidates with higher total marks obtained in Mathematics, Science and English in the Secondary School Certificate Examination will be given a higher rank.

Candidates whose names are listed in the final merit list are eligible for Gujarat diploma admission choice filling 2024 for the actual allotment rounds. The actual choice-filling process is conducted in two rounds. The process of choice filling for actual seat allotment will be held online and the candidates have to edit their locked choices during mock choice filling and can add new choices.
