JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2024: JAC Delhi will release the JAC Delhi 2024 eligibility criteria at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The eligibility criteria of JAC Delhi 2024 will be mentioned in the official notification. JAC Delhi eligibility criteria will include aspects such as age, educational background, nativity, domicile, and category. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before beginning the JAC Delhi 2024 registration.

Candidates who wish to appear in the JAC Delhi counselling must meet the JAC Delhi eligibility conditions for BTech. A candidate who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects including Physics Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be considered eligible. The Joint Admission Committee, Delhi will release the JAC Delhi 2024 notification after May 27.

JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria of Minimum Age

The counseling committee has not mentioned any minimum or maximum age restriction on its official website for participation in JAC Delhi 2024.

JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Universities/Institutes

  • Admission to universities/institutes in B. Tech courses in NSUT, IGDTUW, and DTU will be strictly on the basis of AIR Rank in JEE Main Paper 1.
  • Admission to the B. Arch course in IGDTUW will be strictly on the basis of AIR Rank in JEE Main – Paper 2.
  • Admission to the B. Tech course in IIIT Delhi will be strictly on the basis of JEE Main Paper – 1 score. The admission also depends upon the bonus points achieved by the candidate in various fields like National Talent Search, Sports, Olympiads, Programming Contest, Culture, Innovation, Chess, et cetera.

Minimum Educational Qualification for JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria

It is necessary for a candidate that he must have passed class 12th from the CBSE board or any other recognized board.

Minimum Percentage Requirement in Class 12 for JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria

Given below are the minimum marks required in class 12th for JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria.

For Admission in B. Tech Course at DTU, NSUT, and IGDTUW

For the B. Tech course at DTU, IGDTUW, and NSUT a candidate must score 60% or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and should have English as a subject of study in their qualifying examination. Moreover, the candidate should have JEE Main 2024 Rank (Paper – 1), then only he/she will be eligible for admission. Also, it is compulsory that he/she has passed each subject separately.

For Admission in B. Tech Course at IIIT-Delhi

A candidate must score 70% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also, and 70% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination. Moreover, the candidate should have JEE Main 2024 Rank (Paper – 1), then only he/she will be eligible for admission.

For Admission in B. Arch Course at IGDTUW

A candidate will be eligible for admission only if she has scored 50% or more marks in aggregate and has passed mathematics as a subject.

JAC Delhi Eligibility Criteria as Per Region

Candidates will be divided based on two regions, that is, candidates belonging and applying from Delhi Region and candidates belonging and applying from Outside Delhi Region.

  • Delhi Region Candidates: - Those candidates who are passing their qualifying examination from a recognized school/institute/college located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi will come under this category. These candidates will have a reservation of 85% of the seats.
  • Outside Delhi Region Candidates: - Those candidates who are passing their qualifying examination outside of a recognized school/institute/college located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will come under this category. These candidates will have a reservation of 15% of the seats.

Relaxation for Candidates in Minimum Marks Requirement Belonging to reserved Category:

For IGDTUW and DTU Only

1. OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): - Candidates belonging to OBC will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum mark requirement in their qualifying examination.

2. Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): - Candidates belonging to SC & ST will get a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum mark requirement in their qualifying examination.

3. Differently-abled person: - Candidates belonging to this category will get a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum mark requirement.

4. Defence: - Candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum mark requirement.

For NSUT Only

1. OBC-NCL (Other Backward Class): - Candidates belonging to OBC will get a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum mark requirement in their qualifying examination.

2. Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled Tribe (ST): - Candidates belonging to SC & ST just need to pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their qualifying examination.

3. Differently-abled person: - Candidates belonging to this category will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum mark requirement.

4. Defence: - Candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum mark requirement in their qualifying examination.

For IIIT-Delhi Only
