National Testing Agency is expected to release the NTA JEE Mains 2025 exam city slip in the first week of January 2025. The link to download the JEE Main Advanced city intimation will be available online at jeemains.nta.nic.in 2025. JEE Main 2025 Syllabus

According to the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern change notification, Section A will contain 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject, while Section B will contain only 5 Numerical Value Type questions per subject, with no option questions. In section B, candidates will have the option to attempt all five questions. The exam duration for JEE Mains 2025 is 3 hours with a total mark of 300.

JEE Mains 2025 Exam Day Guidelines & Dress Code

• Do not wear apparel that comes with frustrations of different pockets for going through security checks.

What is JEE Mains?

The full form of JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The Joint Entrance Examination is an exam conducted by the NTA mainly for students looking to get admission into various technical undergraduate programs in Engineering and Architecture can apply for the same. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced. Only 2.5 lakh candidates will be called for JEE Advanced exam to get admission to IITs.

JEE Main 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified Class 12 board exams in the year 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 are eligible to apply for JEE Mains exam 2025. However, the candidate may be required to meet the JEE eligibility criteria of the institute to which they are taking admission.

• Should be in the final year of the exam of 10+2. Candidate in intermediate or two-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
