Candidates had to pay the KCET 2021 application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ Female) in online or offline mode. Candidates had to complete steps like KCET 2021 registration, filling forms, uploading of documents, fee payment, and submission of the KCET application form 2021. KCET Application Form 2021- Steps to fill and submit the registration form

The registration process of KCET is now over. Candidates can check the steps to fill KCET application form for reference purposes. Candidates can fill the KCET 2021 application form in two stages. The first stage consists of filling and editing the form while the second stage includes confirmation and submission of the same. It should be noted that the KCET application form is available only in online mode.

Step 1 - KCET 2021 Registration: To register for the KCET exam, candidates will have to go to the KCET application form 2021 official website- kea.kar.nic.in and follow the given steps:

  • Click on ‘New User’
  • Read the given instructions and click on ‘Proceed to apply online’
  • Select ‘Nationality’
  • 13 digit ‘Student Number’ issued from PUE Department has to be entered by the candidates who appeared for 12th PUC exam.
  • Click on ‘Submit’

After the KCET exam registration is done, the candidates will have to enter the following details KCET form

  • Candidate’s name
  • Date of birth
  • Email address
  • Mobile number
  • A password of choice has to be created
  • Re-enter the password for confirmation
  • Answer the security question
  • Security code
  • Click ‘Submit’

Candidates will receive the KCET 2021 application number and User Id to their registered email ID and mobile number. It has to be kept safely since it will be used for login purposes.

Step 2 - Filling of the KCET Form: Next, the candidates will have to fill in the required details in the KCET application form as per the documents that they possess. All information has to be valid in nature.

Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images: Candidates will have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, left thumb impression along with their parent’s signature of left thumb impression as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 4 - Fee Payment: The required KCET 2021 application fee has to be paid in online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode. For the offline payment, the candidates will have to download the e-challan and pay at the branches of State Bank of India or ICICI Bank.

Step 5 - Submission of Form: Finally, the candidates will have to review all of the details submitted and corrections can be done by clicking on the ‘Edit Application Form’ button. Candidates will then have to accept the declaration and finally submit the KCET application form.

The printout of the KCET 2021 application form has to be attested by the School Principal or PU of the institute/school/college studied or currently studying or by any Gazetted Officer. Candidates will be required to produce this attested KCET application form at the counselling session.

KCET 2021 Application Form- How to retrieve the application number?

In case, the candidates forget their application number, they are advised to check their registered email address. If the application number is still not found, then they will have to contact the KCET authorities at keauthority-ka@nic.in. Their helpline number 080 - 23 460 460 can also be contacted.

KCET Registration 2021- How to retrieve the password?

Candidates will be able to retrieve their forgotten KCET password by following the given steps:

  • Go to the candidate portal of KCET 2021
  • Click ‘Forgot Password’
  • Click on ‘Create New Password’
  • KCET 2021 User ID, application number, security question, answer and security code has to be entered.
  • Click on ‘Submit’
  • A new password of choice has to be generated by the candidates and confirmed.
  • Candidates will also be able to check their new password through their registered email address or mobile number.

KCET 2021 Application Form Correction Facility

KEA has opened a correction facility for the KCET application form 2021 in online mode. Using this facility, the candidates can edit/correct the details that they have submitted in the application form of KCET 2021. However, all details will be available for KCET application correction. If the corrections are done within the specified period, then the candidates will not be given another chance. The given steps can be followed to access the KCET application form correction facility:

  • Go to the official website of KCET 2021 (kea.kar.nic.in)
  • Click on ‘Edit Karnataka CET application’
  • The user ID has to be entered and the OTP will be generated and sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP number
  • The required details have to be edited and click on ‘Submit’
  • The confirmation page has to be downloaded and printed by the candidates.
