MET Counselling 2024: Manipal Academy of Higher Education has announced the MET 2024 seat allotment for round 4 on July 31, 2024. The authority has updated the MET seat allotment 2024 result on the official website, manipal.edu. To check the seat allotment of MET 2024, candidates require their application number and password. The MET 2024 counselling registration and choice filling for round 4 concluded on July 28, 2024. Candidates who have qualified for the Manipal Entrance Test are eligible to participate in the Manipal University Counselling. The authority announced the MET 2024 seat allotment result for rounds 1, 2 and 3 on June 13 and 24 and July 7, 2024. The Manipal counselling schedule 2024 is available here. The MET result for Phase 1 was declared on April 20, 2024, and for Phase 2 on May 23, 2024. Qualified candidates had to complete the Manipal BTech counselling registration, following which, they had to fill in their preferred choices and upload the relevant documents. However, before that, students had to submit the MET 2024 counselling fee. MET Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have MET 2024 rank

• Candidate should have passed in 10+2 / ‘A’ Level / International Baccalaureate (IB) / American High School Diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

• Candidate should have minimum aggregate marks of 50 % in Physics, Mathematics and in any one of the optional subjects taken together. In each of these three subjects, candidates should have scored at least minimum pass marks prescribed by the board.

MET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2024

MAHE conducts the MET counselling process 2024 in online mode. Eligible and shortlisted candidates first have to register for the MET 2024 counselling, complete choice filling, and upload the required documents. After this, the authorities will release the Manipal seat allotment 2024 for each round of MET counselling. MET 2024 Counselling and Seat Allotment

The following steps will be included in the counselling of MET 2024 and seat allotment-

Step 1: Registration- Candidates will have to first register for the MET counselling 2024 on the official website. Candidates will be required to enter all the required details for registration.

Step 2: Online Choice Filling/ Modification- Candidates will have to log in to the candidate portal using the application number, OTBS Password, and captcha code and select their preferred choices of campus and courses. Candidates can modify their choices of college and branch as per their preference.

Step 3: Documents Upload- Students have to upload the following documents in online mode for participate in the MET counselling and seat allotment 2024.

• Transfer Certificate.

• MET Hall Ticket.

• Aadhaar Card (Candidate’s Original).

• PAN Card of the parents (Original).

• Class 10 Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof).

• Class 12 Mark Sheet.

• Conduct Certificate.

• Candidate’s 2 Recent Passport Size Photograph.

• Authorization Letter (in case a representative is attending on behalf of a candidate).

• JEE Mains 2024 January scorecard / SAT score / any state CET marks.

Step 4: Seat Allotment- The authorities allot seats to the candidates based on their rank on the merit list. Students will have to check the status of their seat allotment of MET by logging in to the candidate portal. Students who have been allotted a seat but want to upgrade will have to report to the allotted institute and select the option of participating in the next round. Students who will not be allotted any seat in previous rounds will automatically be considered for the next round of seat allotment.

Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute- Students have to visit the allotted institute to complete the admission process. Students need to carry the provisional MET seat allotment letter 2024 along with the necessary documents to the institute at the time of admission.

MET Counselling Intra-Institute Sliding

Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any institute can participate in the intra-institute sliding. Intra-institute sliding is the modification of allotted branches within the institute. Students have to do a fresh registration in the institute for the branch sliding. Students must note that Intra-Institute sliding is the only modification in the branch allotted to candidates in any institute and not any fresh allotment.

MET 2024 Spot Round Counselling

Manipal Academy of Higher Education will conduct the spot round counselling of the Manipal Entrance Test for the seats which remain vacant after rounds one to seven counselling. Students who want to participate in the spot round counselling will have to register in online mode and report to the MET counselling 2024 venue as per the schedule. MET 2024 Counselling Fees

While doing Manipal counselling registration, candidates will also be required to pay a fee. MET counselling 2024 fees are Rs. 10,000 which is a waitlist deposit which is to be paid online during the MET counselling 2024 registration process. Once MET counselling fees are paid, candidates are eligible to do Manipal choice filling to participate in the online mit manipal counselling 2024. On MET BTech counselling allotment results in any round, the 1st instalment fee has to be paid by the candidate within the timeline specified, to confirm the seat allotment. On fee payment, the MET counselling fees paid at the time of registration will be converted into a refundable caution deposit, which is part of the Course fee. In case the candidate is not allotted any seat in any rounds of counselling, the waitlist deposit will be refunded within 1 month of completion of all rounds of the MET counselling process.
