MHT CET 2021 Seat Allotment

The exam authorities will publish the seat allotment of MHT CET 2021 for all the rounds in online mode only through a centralized allotment process. The seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s performance in MHT CET 2021 exam.

Higher marks will increase the chances of student’s admission. The MHT CET 2021 seat allotment will be done based on the choices filled and the seats availability. After the MHT CET seat allotment is done, students can follow the detailed step by step process below.

Step 1: Downloading the seat allotment letter - Students should login and download the MHT CET 2021 provisional seat allotment letter in the form of PDF. Details of the allotted institution/college will be specified in the allotment letter. They should take a print out of the letter which will be used in the admission process.

Step 2: Reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) - After the seat allotment process, students will have to report to the reporting centre to confirm their seat allotment where they will have to select options for further rounds of MHT CET seat allotment. Candidates will have the option to freeze, slide or float their allotted seats.

  • Freeze: Students who are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not want to participate in other rounds of MHT CET 2021 counselling will have to select the “Freeze” option.

  • Slide: Students who want to accept the allotted seat but also are open for upgradation to higher preferred course in the same institute should choose the option “Slide”. However, it must be noted that if the candidate is allotted a higher preferred course, the previously allotted seat will be cancelled.

  • Float: Students who have been allotted a seat in previous seat allotment rounds and now wish to upgrade to any course at any college/institute will have to select the option “Float”. If they are upgraded to other course or institute, the previously allotted seat will be cancelled.

Step 3: Document Verification at the allotted institute - Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute as per the schedule and get their documents verified. They will have to pay the remaining fee there.

MHT CET Counselling 2021

There will be three rounds of counselling followed by a spot round/ institutional round if there are vacancies. Candidates have to register, fill their choices of colleges and in the order of their preference. After registration, the candidates need to get their documents verified. There is no counselling fee for the candidates who qualified in MHT CET.
