NTA JEE Main 2021 Application Form

NTA has opened the JEE Main 2021 registration for the 4th session on the official website from July 9. The application last date for the fourth session is July 12. Candidates need to submit the application form on or before the last date. Only those candidates who submit the duly filled NTA JEE Main 2021 application form will be eligible to appear for the exam.

How to fill NTA JEE Main Application form 2021?

Candidates should follow the below-given steps to fill out the JEE Main application form hassle-free.

Step 1 - Registration - Firstly, candidates have to complete the NTA JEE Mains 2021 registration by providing some basic details such as email id, contact number, and name. Candidates also have to create a password and answer the security questions. Upon successful registration, a unique JEE Main 2021 application number will be generated. Save the registration number as it is used for all further logins.

Note: Candidates who wish to appear for other sessions along with JEE Main 2021 February are required to mention. NTA JEE Main 2021 April session application number and password/date of birth will be considered.

Step 2 - Complete application form - In the next step, candidates have to log in to the account using the generated application number and password. Submit all the required details such as personal information, contact details, and academic details.

Step 3 - Upload the documents - All the relevant documents need to be uploaded in the specified format.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Education Minister announced on Twitter that the eligibility criteria of obtaining a minimum of 75% marks in the class 12 exam for admission in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs have been relaxed. Candidates will not need to obtain only pass marks in class 12 irrespective of the percentage to get admission in these institutes besides qualifying for JEE Main 2021. The National Testing Agency has released certain conditions and requirements that need to be fulfilled by the JEE Main 2021 applicants. Only those candidates who will meet the NTA JEE Main exam eligibility criteria will be eligible for admission.

Admission Criteria for IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs

B.Tech- For admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, students are no longer required to obtain a minimum of 75% in the Class 12 exam.

B.Arch- Should have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Exam Centres

National Testing Agency has released the complete list of exam centres along with the JEE Main official brochure. NTA JEE Main exam centres comprises names of all the centres where the entrance exam will be conducted. NTA JEE Main 2021 Syllabus

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2021 syllabus to inform candidates about the topics that must be covered during the preparation. NTA has announced that the JEE Main syllabus has not been reduced. However, students will be provided with more options to answer the questions. The JEE Main syllabus will comprise of topics and concepts where questions will be asked in the entrance test. The syllabus of NTA JEE Main 2021 will be based on the topics of Class 11 and 12 - Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Mock Test

To help candidates prepare in a much better way, NTA releases the mock test of JEE Main on the official website. The online JEE Main mock test 2021 will be available for both paper 1 and paper 2 in three languages including Hindi, English and Gujarati. Also, to access the NTA JEE Main 2021 mock test, candidates will not be required to login into the candidate portal. Mock tests will allow candidates to get familiar with the pattern of the entrance exam.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Answer Key

NTA JEE Main 2021 answer key will be released at the official website. JEE Main answer key comprises correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. NTA first releases the provisional JEE Main answer key. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the answer key as per the prescribed dates by paying an amount of Rs. 200 per question. Finally, the authorities will release the final JEE Main 2021 answer key after considering all the objections.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Result

The authorities will declare the result of JEE Main 2021 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check the result by logging into the portal using the roll number and date of birth. NTA JEE Main 2021 result for all the sessions will be declared separately.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Rank list

The authorities will release the JEE Main rank list 2021 after the declaration of the May session. NTA will consider the scores for the first attempt as well as for the second attempt while preparing the rank list of JEE Main 2021.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Cutoff

The minimum marks required by the candidates will be mentioned in the cutoff of JEE Main 2021. Only those candidates who meet the cutoff will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. The authorities will release two types of cut off - admission cutoff and qualifying cutoff. NTA JEE Main 2021 admission cutoff will be the opening and closing ranks for admissions into the participating institutes, whereas the qualifying cutoff will be released by JoSAA during the counselling process.

NTA JEE Main 2021 Counselling

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts JEE Main counselling 2021 for admission into the participating institutes. The counselling process will be conducted in online mode. Around seven rounds will be conducted by the authorities to provide admission into the B.E/B.Tech courses offered by NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main 2021 seat allocation will be done on the basis of availability of seat, preferred choices, and merit.
