OJEE Counselling 2022 - Check Dates, Schedule, Seat Allotment

OJEE Counselling 2022- The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination exam (OJEEE) will conduct the OJEE 2022 counselling for JEE Main and special OJEE qualified aspirants. The OJEE counselling dates will be updated at the official website. Interested candidates will have to complete the OJEE 2022 registration process within specified dates.

After successful registration, candidates will have to complete other steps of OJEE counselling 2022 such as choice filling, locking, mock/temporary allotment, reporting at nodal centres, final seat allotment and reporting at the allotted institutes. The allotment of seats will be done through a centralised OJEE 2022 counselling on the basis of merit list through marks secured by candidates in JEE Main/ OJEE 2022. OJEE Counselling 2022

The exam conducting authority will open the OJEE counselling registration and choice filling 2022 at the official website. The authorities will be conducting separate OJEE 2022 counselling for JEE Main and special OJEE 2022 qualified candidates. Both the counselling will be conducted in online mode. It must be noted that the authorities will conduct two of OJEE counselling 2022 and one special round.

Step by Step detailed OJEE 2022 Counselling Process

Step 1: OJEE Counselling Registration- In the first step, eligible candidates will have to register online for the OJEE counselling process along with paying the counselling fee. Candidates will have to enter the following details for OJEE 2022 counselling registration-

  • OJEE 2022 Registration Number

  • Name of Candidate

  • Gender

  • Date of Birth

  • Details of Educational qualification

  • Details of Marks Secured in Special OJEE

After entering the above details, candidates will have to pay the OJEE 2022 counselling fee in online mode through Debit/credit card or internet banking.

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking- In the next step, candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges and courses as per their preferences. Candidates are advised to fill in maximum choices in order to increase their chances of admission. Candidates have to lock their choices within the specified limit.

Step 3: Temporary seat allotment- The authorities will release the temporary seat allotment on the basis of choices locked by the candidates and OJEE merit list. Candidates will be able to check their OJEE seat allotment result through the official website. Candidates will also receive their seat allotment status on their registered email and mobile number.

Step 4: Reporting at Nodal Centres for Admission Fee Payment- Candidates who will be allotted seats in temporary seat allotment will have to visit the nodal reporting centres for verification of documents as well as payment of admission fees. Candidates will also be required to pay Rs 25,000 as seat confirmation fees in any branch of Axis Bank/ State Bank through e-Challan or in online mode using credit/debit card.

List of documents for verification

  • JEE Main 2022 Result card.

  • Online registration slip of OJEE 2022 counselling.

  • Admission fee payment receipt.

  • Class 10th certificate/ any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth.

  • Class 12th standard mark sheet and pass certificate.

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.

  • Original SC/ST/ Category Certificate by birth state of Odisha.

  • Income Certificate for TFW candidates.

  • Green Card issued by the Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha.

  • Ex-Serviceman candidates apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.

  • Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category.

  • Certificate in support of NRI.

  • Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates.

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parents from Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.

Step 5: Final Seat Allotment- The authorities will release the final seat allotment of OJEE 2022 after the completion of document verification and submission of fee at the nodal reporto=ing centres. The final seat allotment will be available on the official website. Candidates will have to download their seat allotment letters.

Step 6: Reporting at allotted Institute- Candidates who will be allotted seats in the final allotment will have to report to the allotted institute along with the seat allotment letter. Candidates must report to the allotted institute to confirm their allotted seats in the specified time. Candidates will also have to carry all educational documents along with other relevant documents to the allotted institute.

OJEE Participating Institutes 2022

The institutes which offer B.Tech admissions through OJEE counselling are the participating institutes. As per previous year data, OJEE participating institutes include 8 Government/Government Aided institutes and 82 self-financed institutes. Candidates are advised to check the complete list of OJEE participating institutes 2022 to choose their preferences during the choice filling and locking process.
