TANCA Counselling 2022 - Anna University will be conducting the counselling of TANCA 2022 in online mode. The authorities will start the TANCA 2022 counselling registration tentatively in August. Applicants who will qualify TANCET exam or have a valid GATE score will be eligible for TANCA 2022 counselling and seat allotment.

TANCA Counselling 2022

The process of TANCA 2022 counselling registration includes filling the application form, uploading scanned images of photograph, signature & educational documents, and fee payment. Candidates will have to download their counselling call letter from the official portal by login using their registration number and password. TANCA 2022 counselling will be held in offline mode at Anna University wherein candidates have to report to the venue as per the schedule specified in their call letter.

TANCA 2022 Counselling Procedure

Students wishing for M.Tech admission have to appear in the TANCET/GATE exam. Admission will be offered to the candidates through TANCA counselling and seat allotment 2022. Candidates who qualify TANCET or GATE exam have to apply for TANCA 2022 counselling in online mode for seat allotment procedure. The detailed step by step procedure for the counselling process is given as under.

TANCE 2022 Counselling Registration -

1st Step: Online Registration - Candidates need to register for participating in the counselling process in online mode. They have to give their basic details like name, parents name, date of birth and educational qualification information. Students will also be required to upload a scanned image of photograph and other documents of educational qualification as mentioned below.

2nd Step: Upload required documents - Candidates will have to upload the necessary documents as per the prescribed format.

List of documents needed:

The followings are the list of documents required to be uploaded while filling the TANCA 2022 application form for counselling and seat allotment process.

• 10th & 12th class mark sheets and certificate

• Qualifying degree certificate and mark sheets

• TANCET hall ticket 2022

• Valid TANCET/GATE scorecard

• Transfer certificate from the college/institute last attended

• Nativity Certificate, if applicable (electronic form or digitally signed e-Certificate)

• Certificate of disability, if applicable

• Permanent Community Certificate - a card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate in the case of BC Muslim, BC, MBC / DNC & SC / SC (Arunthathiyars) / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu

• Copy of identification certificate received from the Tahsildar Head Quarters or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates).

3rd Step: Payment of Counselling Fee - Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 500 (General) and Rs.200 (SC/SCA/ST).

4th Step: Final Submission - After furnishing all the information in TANCA 2022 registration form for counselling, uploading documents and paying the application fees, click on submit button to finish the registration process.

TANCA 2022 Merit List

Candidates who finish the registration within scheduled dates will be eligible for participating in TANCA 2022 counselling and seat allotment. The exam authorities will release a merit list of all candidates who have registered for the TANCA counselling 2022. The merit list will be released separately for GATE & TANCET category candidates. Candidates whose name provided in the merit list will have to download their counselling letter by the login.

Reporting to Counselling Venue for Choice Filling

Candidates having their name in the merit list will have to download their call letter by login to candidate portal using their registration number and password. Information about counselling venue, reporting date & time will be specified on the call letter. Students will have to report to the counselling venue as per the details specified in their counselling letter.

TANCA Seat Allotment

The seat allotment will be done based on the merit list prepared through GATE/TANCET score. The allotment of seats will be done in offline mode through at Anna University. By considering the admission policies, choices chosen by the candidates and candidate’s rank in TANCET in the merit list.

Reporting to Allotted Institute

Students who will be allotted a seat through TANCA counselling 2022 will have to report to the allotted institute. Candidates have to report to the institute failing which their admission will be cancelled. Students should carry all the required documents while reporting to the allotted college/institute. They have to carry all original documents along with the xerox copies.
