AIBE XVI (16) 2021 - Bar Council of India (BCI) will release the AIBE result 2021 tentatively in the third or fourth week of November. The All India Bar Examination, or AIBE, is a certification exam that is taken by law students after completion of a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. Those who qualify in the exam are issued the Certificate of Practice (COP), which is mandatory to practice in a court of law in India. To apply for the exam, the minimum eligibility criteria is a 3- or 5-year LLB graduation. The candidate also must be registered with their respective bar councils. AIBE 2021 exam will include multiple-choice questions to be asked from common law subjects and will be available in eleven (11) language options.

AIBE XVI (16) Answer Key 2021

The exam conducting authorities has released the provisional answer key of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVI 2021 on November 09. The answer keys have been released for all four paper codes (A, B, C, and D). AIBE XVI (16) answer key contains the official answers to all the questions asked in the entrance exam.

The candidate, by comparing their answers with the official keys, can determine the number of correct attempts and then probable score. One must use the official marking scheme when calculating scores. The approximate score would give the candidate a fair idea of success or failure in the AIBE XV exam, without waiting for the results.

AIBE XVI (16) Result 2021

The Bar Council of India will declare the result of All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XV 2021 within a few weeks of the conduct of the offline exam. The result will be declared in online mode and can be checked by entering one’s roll number and date of birth. Unlike results for other entrance exams, AIBE XVI (16) 2021 would only indicate the qualifying status of the candidate, and not include other details like section-wise and overall marks.

Such candidates who qualify in the exam will be issued the Certificate of Practice (COP), which is essential to practice law in a court of law.

AIBE XVI (16) Eligibility Criteria

The BCI sets the eligibility criteria for the AIBE 2021 exam pertaining to age limit, qualifying exam, and bar council registration. Only if the candidate meets all of these conditions will he or she be considered for Certificate of Practice.

  • Qualifying exam: The applicant must have passed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a BCI-recognized institute.

  • Bar council registration: The applicant must be enrolled with their respective State Bar Council.

  • Age limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in AIBE 2021 exam

  • Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

AIBE Application Form 2021

The application form AIBE XVI (16) was open in online mode till September 25. The step-wise AIBE application process is described below:

  1. Registration: Before the candidate can fill the application form, they need to get registered first. To register, enter details like enrollment number and registration date, etc.

  2. Fill the form: This section will have fields like personal, educational, and enrollment details. In addition, the candidate will also have to select language option and exam centres (a maximum of THREE exam centre choices allowed). Choices should be entered in the order of preference.

  3. Upload documents - Documents like photograph, signature, copy of enrollment certificate, and self-attested copy of photo id proof have to be uploaded in the prescribed format. On successful registration, the registration number and password will be generated and sent to the candidate’s email id and mobile number

  4. Pay the fee: The registration fee is Rs. 3500 for general and Rs. 2500 for SC/ST candidates.

AIBE Exam Centres 2021

The BCI will conduct the offline-based exam in 53 cities across the country. The candidates were allowed to select a maximum of THREE test centres at the time of filling the form. Candidates were to choose the exam centre carefully, because a request for change is unlikely to be entertained once allotment is made. The details of the exam centre allotted to the candidate, including city, address, etc., are mentioned on the AIBE 2021 admit card.
