AIBE Exam Centres 2021 - Bar Council of India will conduct AIBE XVI (16) 2021 in more than 50 cities across the country. The candidates will be given an opportunity to select their preferred AIBE exam centres at the time of registration. AIBE 2021 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode on October 24, 2021

All India Bar Examination is a national level exam for law graduates in India. Candidates qualifying for the AIBE exam will be awarded a Certificate of Practice which is a mandatory document for pursuing law in any court of law in India.

How to Select AIBE Exam Centre 2021

While filling the application form of AIBE, candidates are provided with an option to select any three AIBE exam centres in the order of preference. Thereby candidates are issued the exam centres as per their preference and on the condition of availability of the chosen test centre. At present, the AIBE is conducted in the following test centres.

AIBE 2021 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing in the AIBE must read the exam instructions carefully before going to the test centre. The exam instructions and AIBE exam centre are generally mentioned in the admit card which is issued a few days before the exam date. Some of the important exam instructions are mentioned below.

  1. Candidates must carry a valid AIBE admit card and an ID card to the test centre.

  2. Candidates should report to the test centre at least 30 minutes before the exam time. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

  3. Candidates cannot bring any study materials, gadgets to the examination hall. Only bare acts are permitted.

Know More About AIBE Exam 2021

BCI conducts AIBE twice every year. It is a closed book exam in which law graduates are required to secure at least 40% marks (35% in the case of SC and ST candidates). The AIBE question paper contains 100 questions from common law subjects (Read: AIBE Syllabus for complete details). All 100 questions asked in AIBE will be multiple choice type questions with four answer options. After the AIBE result declaration, the council provides a Certificate of Practice to the successful candidates. The CoP is generally issued within one month of the result declaration.
