The university will conduct the national-level AILET 2021 exam on July 30 (2 pm - 3.30 pm). The exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode across various exam centers in the country.

AILET 2021 is conducted by NLU Delhi for admitting candidates to its 5-year integrated BA LLB, one-year LLM, and Ph.D. programs. The exam is conducted once every year and is 90 minutes long.
The BA LLB question paper of AILET will consist of 150 MCQs picked from topics like GK, maths, legal aptitude, reasoning, and English. The AILET LLM will have questions from subjects of LLB courses. Exam officials have released the admit card of AILET 2021 on July 19. AILET admit card 2021 has been issued to candidates who have filled the application form and paid the exam fee. To download the admit card of AILET 2021, go to the admit card download portal and log in using the name, application number, course, and date of birth. The applicant will have to select any three exam cities during the AILET 2021 application filling process. The AILET 2021 exam centres will be located across 20 cities in the country. The list of cities where AILET 2021 exam centres will be located are mentioned in the table below.
Within a few days or weeks of the conduct of the offline exam, NLU Delhi will release the provisional answer key for AILET 2021. The AILET 2021 answer key can be downloaded online. The provisional answer key of AILET 2021 will contain the official answers to all questions asked in the entrance exam. The candidates will be able to compare their answers to those given in the AILET answer key to calculate probable scores and thus their chances of admission. The candidates will also be able to challenge the AILET 2021 answer key. The final answer key for AILET 2021 will be released after considering all complaints.
After the release of the final answer key, exam officials will release the AILET 2021 result in online mode for all candidates who have appeared in the exam. The university will release the result of AILET 2021 in online mode, which the candidate has to download by entering their log-in credentials. Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the AILET 2021 counselling process. AILET counselling 2021 will be conducted post the declaration of results. AILET 2021 counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds. As part of the AILET 2021 counselling process, the candidates need to participate in the document verification process, participate in the choice filling and locking. The allotment of seats will be based on their merit rank and choices opted.

NLUs like NLSIU Bangalore and NALSAR which are a part of the NLU Consortium use only CLAT scores for admission to their various law courses; in total there are 22 NLUs that are members of the NLU consortium.
However, NLU Delhi is not a member of the consortium. Also, it only will use AILET 2021 scores for admission to its BA LLB, PhD, and LLM programmes

The National Law University Delhi has released the fee structure and seat matrix for BA LLB and LLM courses. Candidates may check the category wise breakup of seats offered by the NLU Delhi.
Based on AILET 2021 scores, the NLU Delhi will offer 110 seats in BA LLB programme and 70 seats in one year LLM program. AILET 2021 entrance exam is taken by around 20,000 applicants every year. The national-level exam is conducted in more than 20 cities across the country.

The AILET application form is OPEN in online mode. The last date to fill the application form is June 25; the online application opened on January 23. Before filling the form, the candidates must ensure that meet the AILET eligibility criteria. When filing the form, use correct and verifiable information, as all information will be cross-checked at the time of counseling. To fill the form, you will need a valid email id and mobile number.
