AILET Exam Pattern 2023 - Important points keep in mind

  • AILET 2023 will be held offline in pen and paper mode.

  • A physical OMR sheet will be given to the candidates to mark their answers.

  • In the AILET 2023 BA LLB exam, there will be 150 questions in total.

  • AILET LLM 2023 exam will consist of 100 questions along with 10 descriptive questions out of which only 2 questions need to be answered.

  • The descriptive questions in AILET LLM exam 2023 will carry a weightage of 25 marks each.

  • Each correct answer will be given 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response.

  • The duration of the AILET exam will be of 90 minutes.

What is the procedure for preparing the AILET UG merit list?

The AILET 2023 BA LLB merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance of the candidates (By combining the grades obtained in each of the three sections. In case of a tie among two or more candidates the university will give the candidates a higher rank who has scored the higher marks in reasoning. If the tie still persists, the senior candidate (in terms of age) will get preference.

AILET 2023 Preparation Tips

Following are some preparation tips for AILET 2023:

  • Create a study schedule and organize your daily activities with AILET preparation in mind.

  • Each day, spend four to five hours studying and try to be regular.

  • Make short notes, flow charts, and diagrams wherever essential for AILET preparation and revise them regularly.

  • At least two months before the exam, complete the AILET course.

  • In the final two to three months, take AILET practice tests and solve AILET previous year papers. After you've finished solving and correcting your general problems, analyze each mock test of AILET.
