The consortium had originally released the CLAT 2021 admit card on July 14; admit cards for the Northeast states was released on July 15. The admit card of CLAT 2021 is available for download in online mode by logging into the admission portal at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Registered candidates can download the admit card by logging into the portal by entering their mobile number and password. An essential document for appearing in CLAT 2021, the admit card will contain details like roll number, name and address of the allotted CLAT exam centre, and exam date and time. Generally, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be conducted in more than 80 major cities throughout the country. At the time of CLAT registration candidates are asked to provide three exam centres of their choice. However, the actual allotted exam centre can be seen only in the CLAT admit card. To download the admit card of CLAT, it is mandatory to log in at the registration portal. If the candidate has lost the password, it has to be recovered to access the CLAT admit card. One can recover the registration account by following the steps mentioned below.
Open the CLAT registration portal
Click on “Forgot password” link
Enter your registered mobile number and click on submit.
You will receive an OTP on the mobile number
Enter the OTP in the given space and reset your password.
Access your CLAT admit card by Logging in with a registered mobile number and new password.
The admit card of CLAT will also mention important guidelines for the exam day. Candidates must read all the instructions and guidelines and follow them to ensure an easy, hassle-free entry in the CLAT test centre 2021. Some of the important CLAT exam day guidelines are mentioned below.
Document checklist: Candidates must bring with them the admit card and a photo ID proof to the CLAT exam centre.
Reporting Time: The admit card of CLAT 2021 will carry the reporting time; note that latecomers may not be allowed inside the exam hall. So, to ensure that you don't get late, you may visit the exam centre a day in advance to check the location, distance, traffic condition, etc.
Stuff that is allowed and isn't allowed: Mobile phones, calculators, chits are not allowed inside the examination. So if you are carrying a mobile phone, you may have to deposit it with your parents/guardians or leave it outside. The same may be the case with other barred items.
Baggage centre: Exam officials may or may not make provisions for a baggage counter; so, it will be wise not to carry expensive gadgets, heave books, and other such unessential stuff. Also, CLAT officials will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of items that may be left unattended.
Candidates are advised to visit the CLAT 2021 exam centre a day before the examination.
