CLAT Exam Centres 2021 - The consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has issued fresh CLAT 2021 exam centres for Bhubaneshwar candidates. This means previously allotted exam centres for Bhubaneshwar stand cancelled. The consortium has said the decision was taken due to unavoidable circumstances. The consortium will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) at 84 centres across the country, up from 66 centres announced in the previous list; A total of 18 centres have been newly added. The exam centres of CLAT 2021 have been increased keeping in view the safety of students and staff. The test centre cities are notified by the NLU consortium. The surge in CLAT test centres is in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the COVID-19 situation, the candidates were given an opportunity to change their test centre preference.
Candidates are given more choices of CLAT exam centres similar to last year. That being said, CLAT 2021 will be conducted in offline mode on July 23, 2021, and the allotted test centre will be mentioned on the CLAT admit card. In general, the Common Law Admission Test is conducted in the exam centres of the following cities.

The CLAT 2021 exam centre that has been allotted to the candidates is final and any request for change will not be entertained.
To enter the exam venue, the candidates must produce the CLAT 2021 admit card and a valid photo ID proof.
When inside the CLAT 2021 exam centre, the candidate has to sign on the admit card in the presence of the Invigilator. The signature must be identical to the one uploaded when submitting the CLAT application form 2021.
Baggage counter: The CLAT consortium will not make provisions for a baggage counter and the safe keep of personal belongings is the sole responsibility of the candidate.
Exam centre reporting time: The candidate must report at the CLAT exam centre 2021 an hour before the commencement of the exam. Candidates arriving at the exam centre 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam will not be allowed entry inside the exam centre.
Malpractice: Candidates found indulging in cheating or assisting other candidates could be disqualified and face legal action.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates are urged to carry their own face mask/ shield, sanitiser etc. Also, candidates are requested to take the necessary precautions at all times.
You can carry the following items inside the CLAT 2021 exam hall
Blue/Black Ball Pen
Any original photo ID proof issued by the Government.
Transparent water bottle.
Own mask, gloves and personal hand sanitiser.
Disability certificate for PWD candidates
These items are not allowed inside the exam hall
Electronic/communication devices such as mobile phones
Any kind of electronic watch, calculator, headphones, etc. However, an analogue wristwatch is allowed.
Sheets of paper including blank sheets are not allowed inside the examination hall.
The CLAT consortium provides an option of selecting the test centres of CLAT along with the application form. Candidates may choose three exam centres of their choice while filling the CLAT application form. It should be noted here that the test centres of CLAT should be filled in the order of preference. The allocation of exam centres will depend on the preference given by the candidate and the intake of the test centre.
Yes, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to avoid the longer travel to the test centres, the consortium has allowed candidates to change their exam centre preferences till July 4.
In any case, the candidates are advised to fill the exam centre choice judiciously considering that they may not have the option to change the choices later.
The consortium informs about the allotted exam centre through the CLAT admit card which carries the address of the centre along with reporting time.
Candidates are advised to visit the test centre of CLAT in advance. On the exam day, one should try to report to the exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the test.
Candidates will not be allowed to carry anything other than a pen, admit card, valid ID card inside the examination hall.
Note: Along with making changes in exam centres, candidates can also update their name, date of birth as well as reservations; if it needs any correction.
Last year, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CLAT consortium increased the exam centres from 67 to 203. The exam centres of CLAT were provided in almost every state due to the restrictions on travel. Last year, CLAT was conducted in the exam centres of the following cities.
