CLAT Seats 2021 - There are 22 participating institutes of National Law Universities (NLUs) that use CLAT scores for admission to their 5-year integrated and LLM programs. These NLUs each offer a variety of courses, some offer both integrated 5-year LLB and LLM courses; note that all the NLUs offer integrated law courses. Candidates must go through their intake capacity to learn about CLAT 2021 seats offered by these institutes, as it will help them an informed decision when joining an institute. Currently, there are around 2622 seats in undergraduate, and around 808 seats are available for the LLM program. Out of these seats, there are state-merit list seats and All India seats. Further for both state and all India seats, there are category-wise reservations of seats. The CLAT 2021 exam will be conducted on June 13, 2021. There are 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) that offer admission to their 5-year integrated and one-year LLM courses based on CLAT 2021 scores. The candidate must know the number of seats offered by each NLU, as this will help access their chances of admission. Note that CLAT 2020 seat distribution in the NLUs is category-specific; further, some seats are reserved for the state merit list, while the rest are all India merit list, etc.

Important Facts about CLAT Seats 2021

  • The seats offered by each NLU will be divided across categories notified by the university.

  • Most of the NLUs are offering domicile reservations. As a result, All India seats will be reduced. Candidates applying under the domicile category must have a valid domicile certificate.

  • NLSIU Banglore doesn’t offer domicile reservations.

  • Apart from 22 national law universities, more than 50 law colleges and universities will offer admissions on the basis of CLAT scores. To know about the CLAT accepting colleges other than NLUs - Click here.

  • For the general category, the NLUs will offer more than 1450 seats in 5-year integrated LLB.

  • At present, 19 NLUs are offering LLM courses. More than 440 seats are available for general category candidates.
