DU LLB 2021 - Delhi University will release the DU LLB application form 2021 on July 26, in online mode. The DU LLB entrance exam date will be notified in due course. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct DU LLB entrance exam for admission to 3-year LLB program offered by the Faculty of Law, Delhi University (DU). The exam is likely to be held in August.

DU LLB 2021 will be a 2-hour long exam that will be held in computer-based mode and will include 100 multiple-choice questions. Questions in the exam will be set from subjects such as GK, current affairs, legal and logical aptitude and general English. Candidates who qualify in the DU LLB exam will have to participate in counselling session post which shortlisted candidates will be provided admission to any of the 3 law campuses, which have a combined intake of 2922 seats.

DU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2021

Delhi University has prescribed the following eligibility criteria for DU LLB entrance exam.

  • The candidates should have completed a graduation degree in any discipline from a Delhi University or any other university recognized by bar council India.

DU LLB Application Form 2021

The University of Delhi will release the application form for DU LLB entrance test in online mode at du.ac.in. Candidates will have to register for DU PG admissions and select the course as 3-year LLB for accessing the application form. The application process of DU LLB entrance test will include steps such as registration, filling the academic and communication details, uploading documents and fee payment.

  1. Online registration - Click on the registration link (will be provided on this page, once registration opens). A registration form will open, wherein the candidate has to enter details like name, email id and mobile number. On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
  2. Fill the application form - After registration, candidates can fill the application form, which will have various fields like personal details, educational qualification, communication details etc.

DU LLB Exam Pattern 2021

In its admission brochure, the DU Faculty of Law has notified the exam pattern of DU LLB 2021. Candidates who are willing to take the test should be aware of its various aspects such as mode, duration, marking scheme, test structure etc. The exam pattern of DU LLB entrance test will provide a complete overview of the test thus helping the candidates in understanding the technicalities of it. DU LLB Syllabus 2021

The syllabus is integral to the DU LLB preparation. Candidates preparing for the DU LLB entrance test must be well aware of the DU LLB syllabus for the entrance test. DU LLB 2021 Preparation Tips

The Delhi University’s 3-year LLB is popular among law aspiring students. So, it becomes a highly competitive examination in which a throng of candidates appears from all corners of the country. It requires preparation of several months to clear the entrance exam of DU LLB with a good rank. For a basic guide, some of the important preparation tips of DU LLB 2021 are given below.

  • Read and understand the DU LLB exam pattern and syllabus carefully. Make the preparation plan according to the requirement of the DU LLB entrance exam 2021.

  • Find a suitable study routine and maintain consistency during preparation.

  • Last year, the most numbers of the questions were asked from legal sections (around 40+). In the legal section, questions were asked from the Indian Constitution, legal prepositions and facts, law of torts, contracts, IPC etc.
  • Maths section had minimum questions.
  • The analytical section was a bit difficult than other sections. Overall, the test was of a moderate level of difficulty.
  • English was relatively easy. Questions were asked from a comprehension passage, grammar and vocabulary.

It is released by the National Testing Agency which is responsible for conducting the DU LLB entrance test. The admit card of DU LLB 2021 will be available at the admission desk of NTA and can be downloaded by logging into the portal. The DU LLB admit card 2021 will be a mandatory document for appearing in the examination. It also informs about the DU LLB exam centre address, roll number, exam day guidelines and other relevant information. The admit card of DU LLB should be kept safe until the admission process is over. DU LLB Answer Key 2021

NTA will release the answer key of DU LLB 2021 a few days after the conduct of the test. At the first instance, the conducting body will release a provisional answer key. The provisional answer key of DU LLB 2021 informs the candidate about the correct answers of the questions asked in the test. With the help of DU LLB answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate the approximate marks they may score in the test. The NTA also gives an opportunity to the candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key. In case the objections raised by the candidate are valid, the official will make the corrections in the provisional answer key and release an updated answer key.

DU LLB Result 2021

National Testing Agency releases the result of DU LLB 2021 along with the result of PG courses offered by the Delhi University, The DU LLB result 2021 will be released in the form of a scorecard and a composite merit list. The scorecard of DU LLB 2021 will be available for download at the admission portal of the NTA. Candidates will have to log in at the NTA portal in order to download individual DU LLB results. It carries the details such as marks obtained by the candidate, roll number, name of the candidate and other such information.

DU LLB Merit List 2021

Delhi University prepares the merit list of DU LLB based on the marks obtained by the candidates. It releases the DU LLB 2021 merit list at its admission portal. The DU LLB 2021 merit list will carry the names of the candidates in descending order of their marks. A candidate who has secured the highest marks in the DU LLB entrance examination will be placed at the first rank and will be followed by the other candidates. The merit list of DU LLB will inform about the merit rank of the candidates along with their marks, name and roll number. The merit list of DU LLB 2021 entrance examination will be an important document as the university refers to it for shortlisting candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process.

DU LLB Counselling 2021

The Delhi University conducts the counselling of DU LLB in offline mode. However, the registration facility for attending the counselling will be available in online mode at the official website of the university. DU LLB Seat Allotment 2021

The counselling of DU LLB 2021 is conducted in three rounds. After each round, the university releases an admission list or the seat allotment list. The DU LLB seat allotment is a process of shortlisting the candidates for admissions. While verifying the documents at the time of counselling, the university prepares an admission list based on the following factors.

  • Rank secured by the candidate

  • Preference of law centre given by the candidate while filling the counselling registration form.

Candidates who have secured a better rank than others will be given priority during seat allotment. The DU LLB seat allotment list will contain the names of the successful candidates along with their marks, rank (category rank), and other details.

Shortlisted candidates will have to pay the course fee within the notification period and report at the allotted centre as per the instructions given by the university.
