KLEE 2021 - Option Registration, Seat Allotment, Counselling Process, Result (3 & 5 year LLB: Out)

KLEE 2021 - CEE Kerala has commenced the KLEE counselling 2021 on October 05. In this process, the exam authorities will release the first seat allotment for 3-year LLB today, October 12. The option registration for 3-year LLB has already been closed on October 10. For 3-year LLB, the option registration is open till October 16 with the seat allotment list set to be released on October 18.

Earlier, the exam authorities had released the KLEE 2021 result for 3-year and 5-year LLB on September 7 and September 9 respectively. KLEE scorecards can be downloaded by logging into the admission portal. Candidates are advised to check the KLEE cutoff to know about the minimum marks and ranks needed for admission.

Through KLEE, the law colleges in Kerala offer 806 seats in the 3-year program, while there are 2292 seats for the 5-year integrated program. The duration of the Kerala Law Entrance Exam will be 2 hours and include multiple-choice questions.

KLEE Counselling 2021

The exam authorities are conducting the KLEE counselling in an online mode. Candidates shortlisted for counselling may register for the same by providing the college preference and educational details. To appear in counselling of KLEE 2021, candidates will have to submit the documents as asked by the exam authorities. The main objective of conducting KLEE counselling is to verify and authenticate the information submitted by the candidates. After each round of counselling, the exam authorities will release an admission list of candidates shortlisted for admissions. The KLEE counselling process includes the following steps.

  • Online registration at candidate portal

  • Exercising choice option (giving college preferences)

  • Submitting the documents as requested in the counselling notification

  • Release of 1st phase allotment list

  • Course fee payment (online/offline mode)

  • Approval and submission of admission list by principle of concerned college through online admission management system.

KLEE Result 2021

The exam authorities have released the result of KLEE 2021 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB, after receiving objections against the provisional answer key. Candidates may download the result from the admission portal of the CEE Kerala. The KLEE result 2021 carries the details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, marks obtained in the examination along with the all India rank.The authorities have also released the rank lists of KLEE 2021 containing the names of all candidates who appeared in the examination. The KLEE merit list/rank list is a comprehensive list of candidates which informs about the rank secured by the candidates in the examination. KLEE merit list is an important document for the seat allotment. It may be noted here that admission through KLEE 2021 will be offered on the basis of the merit list. Candidates who have secured a better rank than others will be given preference in admissions

Many other private law colleges also offer 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB based on the scores of KLEE. KLEE Answer Key 2021

CEE Kerala releases the answer key of KLEE 2021 in two phases - Provisional and final answer key. The provisional answer key has been released on August 13. With the provisional answer key, candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against the key (answers given by exam officials). The KLEE final answer key has also been released for both 3-year and 5-year LLB. The result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates will be able to download the KLEE 2021 answer key by logging into the admission portal of CEE Kerala.

KLEE Admit Card 2021

The authorities has released the admit card of KLEE 2021 for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM in online mode, at cee.kerala.org. Candidates will have to log in to the admission portal of 3-year LLB/5-year LLB to download the admit card. The KLEE 2021 hall ticket along with a valid ID are the mandatory documents that will be required for appearing in the examination. In addition, KLEE admit card carries details such as the candidate’s roll number, application number, exam centre address, exam date and timings and other such details. Candidates should keep the admit card even after the conduct of Kerala Law Entrance Examination 2021. It is used later at the time of counselling and seat allotment.

KLEE Exam Pattern 2021

The exam authorities have prescribed the KLEE 2021 exam pattern to inform the candidates about various test modalities. As per the exam pattern of KLEE 2021, the test will be conducted in online CBT mode, There will be 200 questions to be asked from a given syllabus. Each question will carry 3 marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The detailed exam pattern is given below.

Candidates who want to prepare for KLEE 2021 will need to refer to the syllabus prescribed by the CEE Kerala. KLEE Eligibility Criteria 2021

CEE Kerala prescribes the program-wise KLEE 2021 eligibility criteria that applicants have to meet in order to be considered for admission.

5-year integrated LLB

  1. Qualifying Exam - Candidates should have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board securing a minimum of:
    • General - 45%.
    • SC/ST - 40%,
    • Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) category - 42% marks
  2. Appearing in qualifying exam: Such candidates can also apply.
  3. Age limit: Completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2021

3-year LLB

  1. Qualifying exam - The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  2. Appearing in qualifying exam: Those appearing in the final year exam may also apply.
  3. KLEE 2021 Age limit - There is no upper age limit for admission to the 3-year law program.

One-year LLM

  1. Qualifying exam: The candidate must have passed a 3-year or 5-year LLB program
  2. Minimum marks: 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

Special Note for candidates appearing in Higher Secondary Improvement

Candidates who have applied for the 5-year LLB of KLEE 2021 and are also appearing in the improvement exam of Higher Secondary need to:

  • Submit an application to the Commissioner of CEE Kerala by email on or before 4 pm, August 10, 2021
  • The email should be accompanied by a copy of the hall ticket of improvement exam
  • Candidates will be given another opportunity to appear in KLEE 2021
  • The exam date for such candidates will be announced later.

KLEE Application Form 2021 (Released)

CEE Kerala has released the KLEE application form for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM online at cee.kerala.gov.in. To fill the form, follow the following steps.

  • Registration - Register by entering a valid email id and mobile number. The application number will be sent at the registered email id.

  • Filling the online registration form - After registration, fill the online application form by entering the personal details, address, educational qualification, etc.

  • Submit the KLEE 2021 application form

  • Fee payment - Pay the application fee, either through online mode or by taking an e-challan. Kerala Law Entrance Examination 2021 application is 600 for candidates belonging to an unreserved category and 325 for SC/ST candidates.

  • Upload documents - Aspirants will have to upload their scanned passport size photo and a signature in the prescribed format.
