Provisional qualifying status
Allahabad University has prescribed the LAT qualifying marks. Candidates scoring less than minimum marks will not be considered for admission even if there are some seats available under the LLB programme. However, those cleaning the minimum cut off marks will be called for counselling only on the basis of merit cum preference.
Minimum marks required
The university gives preference to the fresh candidates (those who have passed the qualifying examination in the current academic year - 2021-22). The scores of the candidates with gap years will be deducted by 5% for each gap year. The maximum deduction will be of 15 marks.
Based on the result, the university will prepare a merit list (rank wise list of candidates). Based on the merit list, the university will conduct LAT counselling. A separate notice and schedule will be released for each round of counselling. The counselling notice will mention the cut off marks for various categories. Candidates securing marks within the cut off limit will have to appear in the counselling. The LAT counselling will involve steps such as choice filling, document uploading, seat allotment and fee submission.
