MH CET Law Counselling 2022: CAP, Seat Allotment

MH CET Law Counselling 2022 - The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the counselling of MH CET law 2022 tentatively in the third week of August 2022, in online mode. The MH CET law 2022 counselling for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB will be conducted in multiple rounds. After each round, the CET cell will release the MH CET law merit list 2022 with the details of the shortlisted candidates. MH CET Law Counselling 2022 - Centralized Admission Process (CAP)
The State CET cell conducts the centralized admission process in the following steps:
Online CAP registration
Candidates getting a non-Zero score in MH CET law 2022 will be eligible for MH CET law CAP registration 2022. For registration, candidates will have to log in using their CET cell id and password. Candidates should fill and submit the online CAP application and upload the required certificates, as applicable and upload the documents as per the instructions given by the CET Cell.

Candidates should keep the following documents in hand to present at the time of MH CET law counselling 2022:
Marksheet of qualifying examination
MH CET law 2022 admit Card
Scorecard of MH CET law 2022
Birth certificate
Domicile certificate
Caste certificate (if admission is sought under reserved category)
PwD certificate (if any)
E-scrutiny of documents for verification
An expert committee will verify the documents submitted by the candidates and update the verification status on the counselling portal. However, the final document verification is conducted at the time of admission in colleges.
Submission of MH CET law counselling fees
Candidates need to pay counseling fees based on the category such as general/SBC/NT/VJ/DT should pay Rs. 3,000 counselling fees. Whereas, SC/ST and OBC should pay Rs. 1,000.
MH CET law merit list
The State CET Cell authorities will publish the provisional merit list for MH CET law 2022. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. For both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB, an alphabetical list of MS (Maharashtra State) and OMS (Other State) candidates is uploaded on the counselling portal.
The candidates will be provided an opportunity to raise their objections against the merit list and submit their grievances. Following which a rescrutiny is conducted followed by the publication of final merit list.
First-round seat allotment and reporting at college
Based on the final merit list, the CET cell will prepare a seat allotment list indicating the college allotments. The seat allotment is conducted based on merit cum preference. After seat allotment, candidates have to accept the seat by paying the seat acceptance fee at the admission reporting Centre. Candidates should report to the law colleges to confirm their admission. MH CET Law Counselling 2022 (CAP) - Second Round
The State CET cell will publish the status of vacant seats for admission in the second round of counselling. It is important for candidates to know the following:
Candidates allotted seats in first round of counselling cannot take part in second round.
Candidates allotted seats in the first round can either accept the seats or participate in the next round.
Candidates who have not attended the counselling before can attend the second round of counseling.
The remaining procedure of counselling in round 2 is similar to round 1.
MH CET Law 2022 Seats and Reservation Policy
The law colleges participating in MH CET law offer around 10,000 seats in 5-year LLB programmes and around 16,000 seats in 3-year LLB course. The reservation policy approved for MH CET law counselling is given below.
