SLAT Counselling 2025 - Merit List (Out), Dates, Selection Process, Documents Required

Currently, the SLAT 2025 counselling and admission process is underway separately at each Symbiosis Law School. The SLAT 2025 merit list is out on January 17, 2025. Candidates can download it through their login from the link given below. The SLAT merit list is prepared based on the consolidated scores of the candidate in SLAT 2025 and the PI round separately by each SLS. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the admission fees and complete formalities to finalise their admission. The complete schedule for SLAT counselling is given below. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) declared the SLAT 2025 result on December 26, 2024. Candidates who were shortlisted based on the score in SLAT 2025 were required to participate in the PI round conducted by the SLAT colleges separately. Through the SLAT 2025 counselling process, candidates will be admitted into BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes. Four participating Symbiosis Law Schools accept the scores of Symbiosis Law Admission Test. These four colleges include SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad.

Earlier, the university had conducted the Slot 1 SLAT 2025 exam on December 13, 2024, in online mode and the Slot 2 SLAT exam on December 15, 2024. It must be noted that there is no SLAT counselling fee. However, at the time of filling up the SLAT application 2025 candidates have to pay a programme registration fee of Rs 1000 for each of the SLS they wish to seek admission. This programme fee is in addition to the SLAT registration fee.

The counselling process of SLAT 2025 consists of the following steps:

• Counselling registration and fees: At the time of SLAT registration, candidates have to apply for each programme at each of the SLS separately. This is in addition to the registration fees paid for the SLAT 2025 exam.

• Personal Interaction round - The PI round is held in online mode remotely. SIU has removed Written Ability Test from its selection procedure. Students are given admissions based on their SLAT scores and PI round performance.

• SLAT Merit List 2025: After completion of the PI, the authorities publish the SLAT merit list which contains the names of the selected candidates. Such candidates are required to get their documents verified and pay the course fees to complete the admission process.

Law aspirants participating in the SLAT counselling 2025 are required to carry the stipulated documents in original along with a set of photocopies. After verification, the originals will be returned to the candidates. The list of mandatory documents is mentioned in the table given below.

The SLAT 2025 selection process is a two-stage activity. Candidates will be selected after consolidating their scores in the SLAT 2025 and PI round. Each of these rounds have a different weightage in the selection process as given in the table below.

SLAT Merit List 2025

Each of the four Symbiosis Law Schools publishes the SLAT 2025 merit list containing names of shortlisted candidates based on composite scores of the candidate in the admission test and PI. The merit list is published programme-wise. The SLAT merit list is provisional. The shortlisted candidates have to complete further steps in SLAT 2025 counselling process namely getting their documents verified and paying the stipulated admission fee. The SLAT 2025 merit list is prepared based on 70% weightage to SLAT exam scores and 30% weightage to PI round scores.
