Qualifying exam

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution.

  • Candidates appearing in the standard XII final examination and awaiting the results are also eligible to appear in SLAT 2023. Such candidates will have to show passing certificates or mark sheets at the time of counselling and admissions.


Minimum marks in the qualifying exam

  • Candidate must secure at least 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

  • Candidates belonging to SC and ST categories must secure at least 40% marks.

Age limit

There is no age limit for pursuing a 5-year integrated LLB offered by the Symbiosis Law Schools.

It is advised that candidates who come from Arts/Social Sciences backgrounds should choose BA LLB (Hons.) programme. Candidates who have studied commerce/accounts/mathematics/science may apply for BBA LLB (Hons.) programme. However, it should also be noted here that candidates are free to make their course depending on their ability, interest and opportunity.

SLAT Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Reservation Criteria

The law schools of SIU offer a combined intake of 1080 seats. However, the distribution of seats is done on the basis of the reservation policy of each SLS. To claim the benefits of reservation, candidates will have to provide their category details at the time of registration as well as during counseling and seat allocation process. The common reservation policy followed in SLSs are given below.

SLAT 2023 Application Form

The exam authorities will release the application form of SLAT 2023 around the third week of January in online mode. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of SLAT will be able to submit the application form at set-test.org. To apply for SLAT 2023, candidates will first need to register themselves at the admission portal. While filling the application form, candidates will have to provide important details such as personal information, educational qualification, communication details etc. Those who register successfully will be issued SLAT admit card for appearing in the examination.
