IPMAT Preparation Books
IIM Indore launched a five-year integrated course in 2011 with only one entrance exam, IPMAT. It is an aptitude test for admission into a Bachelor + Masters Programme. This combined course opens doors for a wide range of opportunities for class 12 pass-outs. Since this program is a direct entry to the MBA course in the two IIMs, students’ network and peer groups are advantageous with IPMAT self study.
What is IPMAT?
IPMAT is an aptitude test conducted by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak. It is the entrance exam for an integrated five-year course in IPM (Integrated Programme in Management). IPM is an amalgamation of BBA and MBA, available to class 12 pass-out students should they choose to opt for BBA. The eligibility criteria for IPMAT Indore are:
Students should have passed grade 12/HSC or any other equivalent examination.
The student should be born on or after August 1, 2000.
The candidate must have a minimum of 60% marks in Class 10 and Class 12.

Both the IIMs reserve rights to determine the eligibility criteria for entry into the IPM program. They also refrain from sending intimations to non-selected candidates.
IPMAT Exam Structure and Syllabus 2025
Although the name of the exam is the same, the two IIMs have different exam structures. Both the aptitude tests are for a total of 120 minutes. The two tests are competitive with a good mixture of quantitative ability, verbal ability, and logical reasoning.
