The DU JAT 2021 brochure has been released but the schedule is yet to be announced. DU JAT 2021 exam date is likely to fall in the first week of September. However, the registration for Delhi University BBA entrance test is expected to commence from third week of July 2021. The form will be available on the official website of Delhi University, www.ug.du.ac.in. DUET entrance test will be of 2 hours duration with question paper having 100 MCQs. Before filling up the application form of DU JAT 2021,the candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria. Check below the complete DU JAT eligibility criteria 2021.

DU JAT eligibility 2021: Academic qualification

  • Candidates should have qualified/cleared the class XII examinations conducted by a recognised Board/University in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • Candidates who have given their Senior Secondary Examinations and are waiting for their results are also eligible to apply.

  • Candidates should have scored at least 60 per cent marks in aggregate in four subjects that include Mathematics, English and any other two subjects from the list of elective subjects i.e., approved by the University of Delhi. Check the list of elective subjects below:

As per DU JAT 2021 eligibility criteria, candidates who belong to SC, ST, CW, PWD categories should score at least 55 percent of marks. Candidates who do not have any result confirmation marks sheet, will not be eligible to appear for DU JAT 2021.

Candidates who have a compartment or are failing in any subject, will not be eligible for DU admission 2021.

Age Limit: According to DUET, there is no age limit to appear for DU JAT 2021.

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.

DU JAT 2021 Application Form

It is important to be eligible in all forms before applying for the entrance exams. Candidates who do not fulfil any of the eligibility criteria will not be permitted to apply for the same. Check below the steps to fill the DU JAT 2021 application form.

  • Fill in the information as prescribed

  • Log in via the registered email id and password

  • Fill in all personal details

  • Upload the necessary documents

  • Pay the requisite application fee through any means as given below:

  • Take a print out of the receipt for future reference.

  • Candidates should note that any misinformation will forfeit their application process.

  • The application fee for General/OBC/CB category candidates is Rs 750/-, wherein for SC/ST and PWD categories the application fee is Rs 350/-.

DU JAT 2021 Exam Day Guidelines

There are certain things that the candidates must keep in mind in order to avoid unnecessary problems at the DU JAT exam centre.

  • Don’t forget to carry the admit card of DU JAT 2021 to the examination centre.

  • Along with the DUET admit card, carry a photo identity proof such as (Driving Licence, Aadhaar card, Voter Identity Card, PAN Card, Passport or College Identity Card)

  • Reach the DU JAT 2021 exam centre an hour before the commencement of the exam.

As per the marking scheme of Delhi University BBA test 2021, the candidates will be awarded four marks and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Check below for more information.

DU JAT Answer Key 2021

The provisional answer key for DU JAT 2021 will be released by NTA soon after the exam. Although the final answer key is required to be published within one week following the test. Students can download the BBA DU JAT 2021 reply key through Delhi University's official website.

The results for DU JAT 2021 will be released by authorities in online mode. To get the result, candidates will be required to enter their login credentials. DU Admission 2021 based on DU JAT 2021

Based on the qualifying examination and the DU JAT result 2021, candidates will be shortlisted for admission to Delhi University's management programmes. The candidate's final selection will be based upon the following parameters:

  • Qualifying Examination (Best four: English, Maths and other two subjects) - 35 per cent

  • DU JAT 2021 result - 65 per cent

The BBA admission in Delhi University will be carried out in the following steps:

Step 1 - Registration on the UG portal

The candidates have to use the university UG Admissions portal to create a personal username and password, fill in the registration form, choose the courses of interest, and upload the required documents. The candidates will not be allowed to edit and correct the form once it is submitted.

Step 2 - Registration fee payment

After that, the candidates have to pay the fees in online mode, via Credit Card/Debit card/Netbanking. Candidates under UR category selects BMS/BA(H)BE/BBA(FIA) and FYIPJ, then he/she has to pay Rs 750/- + Rs. 750/- = Rs. 1,500/-.

Step 3 - Entrance Test

The candidates who registered for the entrance test have to appear for it as per notification on the university website.

Step 4 - Result / Merit List Assertion

A ranking of candidates will be prepared for each course that shall guide the admission process and shall be displayed on the DUET 2021 BBA Admission Portal.

Step 5 - Portal reopening for course / college modification alternative

The portal will be open for the alteration of the course-college preferences for one day after the declaration of entrance test results. Candidates are advised to examine the location of the college and college fee for the course before finalizing their order of preference. No request for change of course-college will be entertained after this.

Step 6 - College Allocation

For all the entrance based courses the allotment of seats will be done centrally and will be displayed on the Admission Portal. Only the candidates who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for the course will be considered for admission.

Step 7 - Verifying records online

The Colleges/ Centres/ Departments will verify the documents uploaded by the candidate for eligibility.

Step 8 - Admission fee charged

Once the Principal/ Director/ HoD has approved admission, the candidate will receive a link on his/her dashboard on the UG Admissions portal through which he/she must submit the due college/course fees. This fee can only be paid online through the portal of DU JAT 2021.

Step 9 - Physical record verification

The uploaded documents will be verified by the respective colleges within the stipulated time period.

Declaration of Result/ Merit List

A ranking of candidates will be prepared for each course that will guide the admission process and will be displayed on the BBA DU JAT 2021 Admission Portal.

Delhi University Spot Admission Round for BBA admission 2021

The DU JAT 2021 exam admission portal will display the number of seats available in each course and/or college after the admission to the third merit list.

i. Candidates interested in seeking admission to a DUET course will do so on the dashboard.

They will give the preference of the course and college.

ii. Candidates will be allotted a course/college as per their merit, preference and availability of the seats in each category. The course will be given preference over college.
