HPU MAT Counselling 2024
HPU MAT is a state-level entrance test that is expected to be held in June 2024. In order to qualify for the HPU MAT 2024 Counselling Process, candidates would have to qualify for the state-level test and satisfy the HPU MAT cutoff requirement. The HPU MAT selection process 2024 will include the GD/PI round for final MBA admission to HPUBS.
The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in the HPU MAT result. The HPU MAT counselling will be done offline by the Himachal Pradesh University Business School. HPU MAT Seats 2024
While providing admission to the qualified candidates following HPU MAT 2024 seat reservation criteria is going to be considered. A total of 120 seats in the MBA programme will be filled through HPU MAT 2024. Out of these 120 seats, 60 seats come under the subsidized category and 60 under the non-subsidized.
A total of 05 supernumerary seats are available for the candidates belonging to different categories, The details of such seats are:
- 01 seat for Defence personnel,
- 02 for single girl child and
02 for J&K domicile
HPU MAT 2024 Selection Procedure: Reservation Criteria

Reservations Under Non-Subsidized Category
The 60 seats under this category are open for all categories. However, 03 supernumerary seats are reserved for the children of HP University employees under a non-subsidized category.
What after the Final Selection?
After clearing all phases and rounds of HPU MAT 2024 selection criteria, candidates for subsidized seats will have to pay Rs. 10,100 per annum while non-subsidised category candidates will be charged a fee of Rs. 1,00,000 per annum as a consolidated fee along with other fee charges. For the academic year 2024-2026, the total batch size including subsidised and non-subsidised seats is 120.
