IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024 - Age Limit, Qualification, Marks, Work Experience

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade prescribed the IIFT 2024 eligibility criteria on its official website. Candidates who are looking for admission to the MBA program should have a valid CAT 2023 score. As per the basic IIFT eligibility criteria, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in graduation from a recognized university. There is no age restriction to apply for IIFT MBA admission 2024.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2024

IIFT MBA eligibility is some requirements which may include the minimum percentage required in qualifying degree, academic qualifications, age, etc. IIFT a national-level entrance examination is conducted annually to shortlist students for admission to the MBA (IB) program at various IIFT campuses in India. In this article, we will discuss the basic eligibility criteria 2024 for MBA (IB). Admission to MBA (International Business) and MBA (Business Analytics) will be given based on CAT scores, WAT, group discussion, extempore, personal interview, etc.

The detailed IIFT eligibility criteria for domestic candidates have been mentioned below.

  1. Age Limit: There is no age bar for candidates who wish to apply for the IIFT exam.

  2. Work Experience: As per IIFT exam eligibility, candidates don't need to have prior work experience to fill out the IIFT application form. However, work experience may play an additional weightage role in the selection process.

  3. Academic qualifications:

  • The aspirant must possess a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration in any discipline with at least 50 percent aggregate (45 percent for SC/ST and PwD candidates) from a recognized university.

  • Candidates appearing for their final year of graduation exams can also apply subject to submission of proof.

IIFT MBA Eligibility- For NRI/ Foreign applicants

NRI or foreign applicants applying for IIFT exam 2024 must meet the following basic set of criteria to appear for the examination:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree of a minimum of three years duration with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate from a recognized university.

  • Those appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply for the exam.

  • The candidate should have been a resident outside India for a period of not less than 18 months.

  • They should produce a certificate from the Indian Embassy/ High Commission /Consulate of the country where they are currently based, stating that they have been residing in the country continuously during the said period.

  • Foreign Nationals will have to take the GMAT score after January 1, 2023, and should produce a GMAT score to the authority.

  • If the candidate has appeared for any other MBA entrance exam in India for that year they are not eligible to apply. They are required to give the undertaking for the same.

  • NRI-sponsored candidates and children of NRIs are not considered under this category.

IIFT Application Form 2024

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade released the IIFT 2024 application form in online mode on October 27. The application form of IIFT admission 2024 is available on the official website. The last date to fill out the IIFT registration form is December 16. Before going to apply for the IIFT exam, candidates are advised to check out the IIFT eligibility criteria. It must be noted that the application will be considered complete only after the successful payment of the application fee.
