IIM Ranchi IPM 2024: Admissions, Fee Structure, Seat Intake & Criteria
IIM Ranchi will commence the registration process for IPM admission 2024-29 soon. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for IPM admission in online mode at iimranchi.ac.in. Candidates who are shortlisted for admission to the IPM 2024–29 batch will receive an email from IIM Ranchi. Students need to check their emails, including spam. The IIM Ranchi IPM admission process is based on the IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore and class 12 marks. IIM Ranchi IPM Admissions 2024
There are a total of 120 seats for IPM 2024 admission in IIM Ranchi. The IPM programme is specially designed for students who have graduated from class 12/ higher secondary or have any equivalent degree. The IPMAT application fee for general, EWS & NC-OBC categories is Rs. 2500 and Rs. 1250 for SC, ST & DAP categories. The SAT exam for IIM Ranchi admission will no longer be accepted from 2024–2029 onwards.

IIM Ranchi IPM Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility requirements for IIM Ranchi are:
- Candidates should have passed the class 10/ secondary/ SSC examination and / Higher Secondary/ HSC examination (or equivalent) with 60 per cent (55 percent for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD) or more marks
- There is no age limit for the applicants
- Indian Nationals and PIO/ OCI card holders are eligible to apply for the programme.
IIM Ranchi Selection Criteria 2024

Step 1: Initial Shortlisting
- From this year on, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance on the IPMAT (conducted by IIM Indore).
Step 2: Shortlisting for WAT & PI Process
- Candidates shortlisted on the basis of tests will have to appear for the WAT & PI processes, which will be conducted physically at locations namely: Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Ranchi.
Note: If the pandemic situation and travel restrictions prevail, WAT will not be conducted and the PI process will be conducted virtually online. In addition, the weightage assigned to WAT will be merged with PI.
Step 3: IIM Ranchi IPM Admission- Final
- IIM Ranchi will prepare the Consolidated Merit List (CML) on the basis of WAT, PI Score, and academic profile score based on the overall academic performance. Following is the list of components on which CML is based:

For the year 2024-29, IIM Ranchi will likely be offering 120 seats. The reservations for these IIM Ranchi seats for IPM are applicable as per the GOI regulations.
IIM Ranchi IPM Fee Structure 2024-29
The official website of IIM Ranchi hasn’t released the IPM fee structure 2024-29 yet. However, based on previous years, the total programme fees for the first three years will be around Rs 15.62 lakhs. The IPM IIM Ranchi fees for the next two years will be equal to the MBA programme fees set for that year. These fees do not include mess charges.
