Prior to filling out the registration form for CAP 2024, candidates should read all the instructions carefully. After submitting the CAP 2024 registration form, candidates won't be able to modify any information in the filled CAP application form. Keep all the following documents ready before filling out the CAP registration form.

• Scanned copy of the photograph (file size should be less than 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of signature (file size should be less than 100 KB)

• CAT 2023 scorecard
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheet with a pass certificate
• Documents related to graduation
  • Bachelor's mark sheet of all semesters/ years
  • Candidates who have completed their graduation before 2019 will have to carry a degree certificate
  • The provisional degree certificate is required for those candidates who have completed their graduation in 2021 but have not received their degree certificate
  • Those who are in the final year of their bachelor's will have to upload a certificate as per CAT 2023 format, which will be obtained from the competent authority
  • Marksheet and certificate of any other master's degree or professional qualification as mentioned in the CAT form
• Work experience-related documents
  • Training and apprenticeships will not be considered work experience
  • Experience certificates from all the past companies will be considered. The certificate must be on companies letterhead with the seal and signature of the competent authority
  • A service certificate is required from the competent authority and a signature for those who are currently working. Otherwise, they need to provide a joining/ offer letter with a first-month payslip and payslip for the latest two months
  • If a candidate is a proprietor or partner of a firm, then-candidate has to provide the document proof such as income tax for the relevant periods and a certificate of registration for doing business from the municipal corporation or appropriate authorities such as an MSME certificate issued by the government of India, Udyog Aadhar registration certificate, partnership deed of the firm duly signed by all the partners and GST registration certificate
  • In case a candidate has worked or working in an unorganized section, then in such case, they have to provide the cash voucher along with a bank statement as proof of the salary and GST registration of the firm with an experience certificate
• Candidates will have to provide a valid caste certificate (NC-OBC/ SC/ ST) as per the given format on the CAT website. In the case of NC-OBC, it should be valid for the next six months from the date of registration
• In the case of DAP/ PwD, candidates will have to provide a certificate (format is available on the CAT website)
• In the case of the EWS category, the certificate should be valid for 2022-23
• Co-curricular and extra-curricular certificates

IIM Sambalpur admission criteria 2024 comprises three stages primarily. The first one is the shortlisting of the candidates on the basis of the CAT score. The admission process of IIM Sambalpur is divided into three stages:.

1. CAT Exam (CAT 2023 score)

2. Shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Appearance (PA) process

3. The Personal Appearance (PA) process is composed of Written Analysis (WA) and Personal Interview (PI)

4. After completion of the above-mentioned rounds, IIM Sambalpur will prepare the Final Selection List (FSL) on the basis of the CAT score, PA, and profile score which includes Work Experience (WE) as assessed during the PA process, Authorities will also consider Past Academic Performance (PAP) and any other criterion.

The 9 IIMs (Jammu, Bodhgaya, Raipur, Kashipur, Sambalpur, Ranchi, Trichy, Sirmaur, and Udaipur) are adopting the Common Admission Process (CAP) for Personal Appearance (PA). Last year CAP round was coordinated by IIM Raipur.

Common Admission Process (CAP) 2024, candidates' performance in PI of CAP 2024 or at IIM Sambalpur will be considered for preparing the final merit list. Only those candidates will be considered who will appear for the PI for IIM Sambalpur or CAP 2024.

Candidates are required to meet the requirements mentioned in the above table for shortlisting for Personal Appearance (PA) process. The shortlisting will be done by the CAP conducting body for the common pool of IIMs.

** In the case of female candidates who fall under the General category, the cutoff percentile for the PA process is 80 with a sectional cutoff of 65 percentiles. This means, getting a minimum sectional or overall CAT percentile does not guarantee a call for Personal Appearance (PA) process. Within this pool of eligible candidates, the final list for the Personal Appearance process will be decided on the basis of merit and as per IIM Sambalpur requirements. The PA process comprises WAT and PI and it will be conducted by IIM Sambalpur.

IIM Sambalpur Admission Criteria 2024 - Offer Acceptance fee and Withdrawal

After releasing the final merit list, those who will get the admission offer from IIM Sambalpur and need to accept the offer within the prescribed date and send along the offer acceptance and the amount of the offer acceptance. If a candidate wishes to withdraw the offer within the stipulated withdrawal date, the offer acceptance amount will be refunded after deducting the processing charges.
