MAH MBA CET CAP 2024: Rgistration Last Date, Counselling Dates, Round Wise Cut Off, Merit List
MBA CAP Round 2024: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the MBA CET CAP 2024 registration till July 27. MAH CET CAP document verification last date has been extended to July 28. CET Cell Maharashtra will release the provisional merit list for Maharashtra/ All India candidates on MAH MBA CET CAP 2024 official website - cetcell.mahacet.org/2024-2025/. The CET Cell will conduct the MAH MBA CET CAP in three rounds. Candidates who cleared the MAH MBA CET 2024 are eligible to participate in the MBA CET CAP round. The MAH MBA CET CAP counselling process is conducted for admission to MMS/MBA courses offered by 300+ MBA colleges in Maharashtra.

Candidates with XAT, CAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, and ATMA scores can also participate in the MBA CET CAP round 2024. What is MBA CET CAP Round 2024?
Shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in the participating colleges through counselling for MAH CET MBA 2024. The participating institutes of MAH CET MBA 2024 will release individual cutoffs on the basis of which further rounds of counselling will be conducted.
MAH CET MBA 2024 is conducted annually. The Maharashtra common entrance exam, CET, will be conducted as CBT at various test centres across the state. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff will be shortlisted for CAP or counselling rounds. Henceforth, candidates who will secure a position on the merit list of MAH CET MBA 2024 will only be able to participate in counselling or CAP rounds. MAH CET MBA CAP 2024: Step wise Process - Application to Selection
Let us look at each stage one by one to have a better understanding.
Stage 1- Registration
- Step 1: Candidates have to further apply and register themselves for the counselling process. The registration can be done by candidates in online mode. To register themselves, candidates will have to enter their personal details like name, contact information, category, correspondence address, email ID, etc.,
- Step 2: Proceed further by filling in educational qualifications to participate in the Centralised Admission Process i.e. MAH CET MBA CAP 2024.
Stage 2- Verification of Documents
- Step 3: Candidates will be required to upload documents as per the specification provided by authorities.
- Step 4: State Common Entrance Test Cell will meanwhile release the provisional merit list of selected candidates. Those candidates who will face any issues can submit their grievances. The Final Merit Lists will be displayed on the official website.
- Step 5: Candidates will be able to see category-wise seats i.e. the seat matrix for CAP Rounds I and further (if there will be any).

Stage 3- MBA MBA CET Seat Allotment and Preference Filling
- Step 6: Candidates will be given preferences of courses in which they wish to opt for and Institutions in which they wish to enroll themselves before MAH CET MBA CAP 2024 round one. The option form once filled and confirmed by candidates will be considered for allotment of CAP rounds without any further changes.
- Step 7: State Common Entrance Test Cell will display the provisional allotment list of CAP rounds. This list will indicate the institute and courses allotted to candidates. The allotment of seats by State Common Entrance Test Cell will be based on candidate’s scores in MAH CET MBA 2024, Xavier’s Aptitude Test, MAT, GMAT, Common Admission Test, CMAT, ATMA, academic qualification as well as other determining factors.
Stage 4- Appear for CAP i.e. Centralized Admission Process
- Step 8: Shortlisted candidates will have to report and if agreed, then accept the seats offered according to the CAP allotment rounds by the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC).
- Step 9: Around 300 to 340 FCs i.e. Facilitation Centres in participating institutes of MAH CET MBA 2024 will be set up by the State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission in the year 2025-2026.
- Step 10: If candidates are not satisfied with the allotment, they can surrender their seats to participate in the next CAP round in order to get a better MBA college in Maharashtra State.

Availability of options For CAP 2024
In MAH CET CAP rounds 2024, candidates will be given three options in the Common Admission Process of MAH CET MBA 2024:
(a) Freeze: Candidates who accept the seats offered to them and do not want to participate in any further rounds of seat allocation have the option to freeze their seats. Such candidates will not be called for further admission rounds.
(b) Slide/Float: Candidates who wish to accept the seat offered by the State Common Entrance Test Cell will have this option. Along with accepting, these candidates also indicate if admission to the higher preference is offered they will accept it. Such candidates will be considered in subsequent admission rounds and will be intimated about the same.
MAH CET MBA CAP 2024 Application Fees
Candidates who will apply for MAH MBA CET 2024 will not be required to pay any fees for the CAP rounds. However, the candidates who will apply for the CAP round through other exams like CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA entrance exams will have to pay CAP fees in online mode as per the below-mentioned table.
