MDI Gurgaon Admissions 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB 2023-2025 in MDI Gurgaon must be familiar with the eligibility criteria to take admission into MDI Gurgaon.

PGPM and PGP-HRM

• Aspirants must have a graduation degree in any discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

• Candidates must have a minimum of three years of education after completing 10+2 level.

• Students appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply provided they have to submit all the required documents for Bachelor’s degree by June 30, 2023.

PGP-IB

• Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both

• class X and XII

• Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree (Minimum 4 years’ duration) with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

• It is necessary for candidates to have a minimum of 1 year (one-year) post qualification work experience as on December 31, 2020 i.e. work experience after completion of minimum 4 years Bachelor’s degree.

MDI Gurgaon Selection Criteria for PGP

The selection criteria for admission in MDI Gurgaon consists of two stages. These are:

Stage 1 (Short listing):

The short listing for WAT–GD–PI of candidates is done based on CAT 2020 percentiles including their overall academic details and sectional cut offs from eligible application pool of MDI, Gurgaon. The minimum CAT percentile requirement is decided based on the number of candidates to be shortlisted.

Stage 2 (WAT–GD–PI):

The shortlisted candidates will go through the following process:

• Written Analysis Test (WAT)*: Candidates must submit a written analysis on the topic provided. The evaluation of WAT will be on content and language.

• Group Discussion (GD)*: Candidates must discuss the same topic in group discussion. The evaluation of GD will be on group behavior, speech deliverance and content.

• Personal Interview (PI): Thereafter candidates must appear for a personal interview. The evaluation will be on communication, analytical ability, general aptitude and business awareness.

*- Due to pandemic, the group discussion and written ability tests have been eliminated
