SNAP 2022: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will conduct the SNAP exam in December last week or in the first week of January 2023 tentatively. This national-level MBA entrance exam will be conducted over three days in a single slot.

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common aptitude test which is conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University every year for admission to MBA/PGDM courses offered by its affiliated institutes. SNAP 2022 is mandatory for all candidates. SNAP 2022 will be a computer based test that will help in screening students for further admission process conducted by each of SIU affiliated institutes.

SNAP 2022 is a speed test for screening suitable candidates for further rounds of the admission process. So shortlisted candidates for the programme they have applied will have to undergo General Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT).

SNAP 2022: Eligibility Criteria
SIU determines SNAP 2022 Eligibility, however, the affiliated institutes have the eligibility criteria for each course they offer. Candidates must check with the respective college to know the eligibility criteria for the course they want to do. Below are some common eligibility criteria for each program.
Candidates must have a bachelor degree or its equivalents from a recognized university with 50% or 45% in case of SC/ST candidates
There is no age bar which means candidates of any age can apply and appear for the test for as many times they wish
Candidates having the foreign degrees can also apply provided they have the equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities
Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for SNAP 2022
SNAP 2022: Registration process
SNAP 2022 registration process consists of two stages - first, SNAP 2022 registration and the second, the choice of program registration. Candidates can do both stages of the registration process through the same portal of SNAP 2022.

Click on the “Apply for SNAP”
Enter necessary details such as name, date of birth, category, and test city preference, upload documents, photo
Review the filled in SNAP application before submitting as once the payment is done no changes can be made in the details
The application fee can be paid either online or through demand draft
To choose a program and college, proceed to the online registration form.
Note: candidates who want to apply for more programs than one, they have to pay the registration fees for each program separately.
SNAP 2022 entrance exam and program registration fee
Candidates who want to apply for SNAP 2022 have to pay a refundable SNAP registration fee of INR1950/- per test. Also, they will have to pay a program registration fee of INR 1000/ for each program. For example, if a candidate chooses two programs for admission, he/she will have to pay INR 2000/.
SNAP 2022 admit card
SIU will issue the SNAP 2022 admit card and will notify the same through the official website. Candidates can download their SNAP 2022 admit card, using their SNAP ID and password.

SNAP 2022 exam pattern
SNAP 2022 is a Computer Based Test which comprises 60 questions from three sections such as General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
SNAP exam pattern will be much like other MBA entrance exams. SNAP 2022 is an objective test. Each question has 4 options, and candidates need to choose the most appropriate one. Also, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
A candidate can take up to two SNAP 2022 exams. In such cases, the higher score achieved by a candidate will be used for final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization for SNAP 2022.

No candidates can challenge and raise objections on the basis of the answer key released by private coaching institutes. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will directly release the SNAP 2022 result on the official website.
SNAP 2022 result
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will release the SNAP 2022 result most probably on February 1, 2022. However, the SNAP result will be notified by the university. SNAP result will be published on the website of SNAP 2022.

SNAP cutoff 2022
Based on the SNAP 2022 percentile, each of SIU affiliated institutes will issue a cut off for shortlisting candidates for further rounds of the admission process. According to the past trends, SIBM Pune cutoff 2022 is expected to be around the 98.5 percentile while SIBM Bangalore cutoff will likely go around 90 percentile. Some SNAP colleges like SIMS Pune, SCIT Pune, SSMC Bangalore, and SIMC Pune release their cutoff on the basis of SNAP percentile ranging from 70 – 80. The cut off will be released category wise and for each program separately.

SNAP score is given only 50% weightage for the preparation of final merit list for admission. So, students seeking admission to MBA/PGDM courses of SIU affiliated institutes not only need to score well in SNAP exam but also perform better in next rounds of the admission process such as GE -PI-WAT.
SNAP 2022 Selection process
The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in all stages which include SNAP exam, Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interaction (PI). This process is common for all SNAP colleges. Admission will be offered on the basis of SNAP scores, Personal Interview, Group Exercise and Writing Ability Test. In addition to that in the SNAP selection, candidates’ profile which includes academic records, work experience, etc., is also taken into account for final admission.
SNAP 2022: Final merit and waitlist
The final merit list of candidates selected for admission will be issued by each of SIU affiliated institutes. The SNAP final merit list and wait list will be prepared on the basis of composite scores of SNAP exam 2022, GE-PI-WAT. SNAP exam performance will have the highest weightage followed by the Personal Interview (PI) which will get a weightage of 30 percent. Both Group Exercise and Written Ability Test get the equal weightage.

Each institute of SUI will release the category-wise cutoff for merit list and wait list on their official website. The wait list will be released only if there are vacant seats available. It is important to know that this admission is provisional and will be confirmed only when a candidate pays the fee on or before the deadline and meets the eligibility conditions of that particular program they have applied for.
