XAT 2023 - Registration, Exam Dates, Application Process, Syllabus

XAT 2023 - Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur will release the XAT 2023 notification anytime soon at its official website, xatonline.in. As per XAT 2023 convener (Professor Vishwa Ballabh) XAT registrations will take place on August 10. XLRI Jamshedpur will conduct XAT 2023 in CBT mode on January 8, 2023. The Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT 2023 is a national-level management entrance exam conducted annually for admission to PGDM programmes in its affiliated institutes, some of them being XIMB, IMT, IMI, and TAPMI among others.

Eligible candidates will be able to fill XAT registration form till November 30, 2022. The XAT admit card 2023 will be issued on December 20 in an online mode. The XAT result will be out in the last week of January 2023.

XAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

XAT 2023 eligibility criteria include the details pertaining to the educational qualification, required marks, and age limit. XLRI Jamshedpur has predefined the eligibility criteria of XAT as follows:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university

  • Students in their final year of Bachelor's degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply

  • There are no minimum mark criteria for the XAT exam.

  • There is no age limit to appear for the XAT entrance test or apply to any of the institutes accepting its score.

XAT Registration 2023

XAT 2023 registration will be open on August 10. The XAT registration fee is Rs 2000 (as per the previous year). Some of the important steps to fill the XAT 2023 application form are given below:

Candidates can check the registration process for XAT 2023 in the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of XAT 2023

Step 2: Click on the ‘Register’ tab

Step 3: Create a new account using your email id wherein XAT ID and registration link will be sent

Step 4: Click on the XAT 2023 registration link to create an XAT login password

Step 5: After logging in, the candidates have to choose the preferred exam city

Step 6: Enter the name, upload photographs, and signature (as per the size)

Step 7: Candidates will be sent two links to upload the photograph and signature. Click on the links, select the location and upload the documents

Step 8: Select citizenship

Step 9: Select Programme (Optional)

Step 10: Fill out all the Preliminary and mandatory information

Step 11: Enter educational qualification and work experience details

  • Candidates interested in XLRI programmes need to pay an additional fee of Rs 300 each.

  • Indian candidates can apply through GMAT/ GRE for Ex-PGDM whereas an NRI/ Foreign national can apply through GMAT for all the programmes. GRE scores are only valid for Ex-PGDM.

  • For Indian candidates applying for Ex-PGDM through GMAT/ GRE, the application fee is Rs. 2500

  • Fee for NRI/ Foreign candidates applying for one or more programmes through GMAT– Rs 5000

XAT Admit Card 2023

XAT 2023 admit card will be issued on the official website in the third week of December 2022. The XAT admit card download process remains available till the XAT exam date. Candidates need to download the XAT admit card 2023 and take a print of it as no hard copy will be sent to you.

XAT admit card 2023 includes all the details pertaining to the entrance test such as XAT exam center details, candidate’s roll number, reporting time as well as exam day guidelines. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the XAT 2023 admit card to the exam centre. The officials will not entertain candidates who do not bring the admit card along with other necessary documents.

Steps to download the admit card of XAT 2023

Step 1: Visit the official website of XAT 2023, xatonline.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Download XAT admit card’ tab and enter the login details

Step 3: XAT 2023 admit card will be shown on the screen

Step 4: Check if any discrepancy is found. If not, click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ tab

Step 5: Take a printout of the admit card for future use.

XAT Answer Key 2023

XLRI Jamshedpur will release the XAT answer key in online mode. Along with the XAT 2023 answer key, the response sheet will also be released. With the help of the XAT response sheet, candidates can know about the number of correct and incorrect questions attempted by them.

Also, they can estimate their score of XAT 2023 before the announcement of the actual result. The objection window to challenge the XAT answer key will also be opened in online mode. After analyzing the objections raised by the aspirants, XLRI will then release the final XAT 2023 answer key in the last week of January 2023.

How to download the XAT 2023 answer key?

Step 1: First, visit the official website of XAT - xatonline.in

Step 2: Then click the "Candidate Response Link" tab at the top of the webpage.

Step 3: It will redirect the candidates to the XAT login page. From there, enter the required XAT ID and date of birth.

Step 4: The page will take the candidate to the dashboard.

Step 5: In the dashboard, click the "Download Answer Key" button.

Step 6: Finally, your required XAT exam answer key will download automatically in as pdf format.

XAT Result 2023

XLRI Jamshedpur will announce the result of XAT in the last week of January 2023 in online mode. Candidates can check their XAT result using their login credentials on the official website of XAT for XLRI, Jamshedpur. XAT 2023 scorecard has the sectional, as well as the overall percentile. Following the XAT 2023 result announcement, admission cut offs will be released and the shortlisting process will begin.

XAT Cutoff 2023

XAT 2023 cut offs for PGDM admission will be released by XLRI Jamshedpur. It will also release the XAT shortlist of candidates for admission 2023 for different XLRI programmes with XAT sectional and overall cut offs.

  • XLRI XAT 2023 Cut off for flagship PGDM-BM is expected at 95 percentile.

  • XLRI XAT cutoff for PGDM-HRM is expected at the 93 percentile.

The institute will begin the shortlisting process for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) after the declaration of the XAT cutoff 2023. Candidates who meet the XAT cut off 2023 will be shortlisted for the GD/PI round of XLRI admission.

XAT Selection Procedure 2023

The XAT 2023 selection procedure varies as per the participating institutes. More than 160 participating institutes will use the XAT score for their admission process. Usually, the selection procedure for XAT 2023 consists of two steps; Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.

Institutes accepting XAT scores for admission to their MBA/ PGDM programme, conduct their own application and admission process. While some institutes open their registration window much before the XAT exam is conducted, others start their registration process after the XAT result is announced. The group discussion and personal interview are conducted to check the candidates’ overall abilities.
