AIIMS NORCET 7 2024: Choice Filling (Extended), Cutoff Marks at aiimsexams.ac.in

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS New Delhi conducts the NORCET exam for the recruitment of nursing officers. The authority has closed the NORCET 7 choice filling window. to November 3, 2024. Qualified candidates could fill their preferences for AIIMS NORCET 7 counselling till November 3, 2024. Seat allotment result of AIIMS NORCET counselling will soon be announced by the authority.

Through NORCET 2024, recruitment is done for the post of Nursing Officer in all AIIMS, NITRD, CNCI, Kolkata & AIIPMR, Mumbai. A total of 1487 seats will be filled through AIIMS NORCET 7 exam. The AIIMS NORCET 7 exam 2024 is conducted in two stages - NORCET prelims and NORCET mains. The prelims is of qualifying nature and only the marks obtained in the mains exam are considered for the NORCET 7 merit list. The NORCET 7 main qualified candidates are required to fill out the application form for the allotment of institutes. NORCET exam eligibility criteria

  • The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years. The age will be calculated as per the NORCET 7 exam date 2024 application form last date
  • The candidate should have completed B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing post basic from any recognised college by the Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council or
  • The candidate should be registered as nurse and midwife with State/ Indian Nursing Council
  • Candidates with a Diploma in General Nursing Midwiferey (GNM) from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognised institute are also eligible given that they should be registered as Nurses and Midwife in State/ Indian Nursing Council.
  • Candidates with Diploma in GNM should have a two years’ experience in a minimum 50 bedded hospital

AIIMS NORCET 2024 reservation

As per the NORCET 2024 reservation criteria, 80% of the total seats are reserved for female candidates and 20% of seats are reserved for male candidates in all participating AIIMS. There is no category-wise reservation in NORCET 2024.

Note: The exam will be submitted automatically and each section will appear one by one during the 90 minutes duration at one time only. Candidates will be allowed only to attempt questions in the currently active section which will remain enable for set time. NORCET 7 application form 2024

The AIIMS NORCET 7 application form can be filled out online from the NORCET 2024 exam official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The NORCET 2024 application form process can be completed in 7 major steps. The whole process of AIIMS NORCET 2024 is as follows -

Step 1 - Registration

  • Fill the basic details like full name, DOB, category, gender, email and a working mobile number to get their login credentials.
  • Login using the credentials received on the registered mobile number and email address and change password on first time login.
  • Login using the newly created password

Step 2 - Qualification & address details

  • Fill the qualification details of the applicant like qualifying examination name, status, etc.
  • Fill the correspondence address and permanent address details of the candidate

Step 3 - Experience details

  • Fill the experience details of the candidate like name of the organisation worked at, Designation, Start date, etc.

Step 4 - Fee payment

  • Pay the requisite application fee of NORCET 2024 through online mode
  • After successful completion of the payment, take a printout of the payment receipt bearing Unique Registration Number which is used for future correspondence.

Step 5 - Exam city choice

  • Select the examination city from the available city list carefully.

  • Exam city once selected cannot be changed later.

Step 6 - Upload images

  • Upload a recent scanned photograph and left thumb impression of the candidate in jpg/jpeg format
  • The size of the photograph should be between 50 kb - 100 kb
  • The size of the left thumb impression should be between 20 kb - 100 kb

Step 7 - Print application form

  • Take a printout of the duly filled NORCET 2024 application form for future reference
  • A correction window is available for making any corrections in the NORCET 2024 application form

AIIMS NORCET 2024 correction window

The correction window of NORCET 2024 allows candidates to edit and make corrections in registration and basic details filled in the application form. Categories from SC/ST to UR/OBC/EWS cannot be corrected once the registration fee is submitted. Candidature will be cancelled in case of incorrect information at any stage of recruitment. The edit window is not an extension of the date, and the last date of online registration will be treated as the last date for all recruitment purposes under NORCET 2024.

AIIMS NORCET 2024 admit card

The admit cards of AIIMS NORCET 2024 are released on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. Bringing the NORCET 7 admit card to the exam centre is mandatory, without it, no candidate can sit for the examination. Also, students need to hand over the NORCET 2024 admit card to the invigilator after completing the examination.

AIIMS NORCET 2024 syllabus

The syllabus of AIIMS NORCET 2024 comprises the subjects of the educational qualification, that is the syllabus of B.Sc nursing, GNM, Post-basic nursing. 20 multiple choice questions are asked from the General Knowledge & Aptitude and 80 multiple choice questions are asked from the syllabus of the nursing courses of the educational qualification.

NORCET 2024 result

The AIIMS NORCET prelims result is announced on September 19 on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in. The mains of AIIMS NORCET 2024 will be conducted for only those candidates who will qualify the prelims. The marks obtained in the NORCET 2024 mains will be considered for the merit list while the prelims will be qualifying only. The successful candidates will be called for the document verification process and upon successful completion, they will be recruited in the participating institutes and AIIMS colleges in India..

NORCET 2024 tie-breaking criteria

In case if more than one candidate are securing equal MARKS, the following tie-breaking criteria is applied for preparing the NORCET 2024 merit list-

  • The older candidate will be placed higher in the merit list

  • If the tie still exists, then the candidate with fewer wrong answers will be given a preference
