Only aspirants who fulfill the eligibility criteria and qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) entrance exam will get MBBS admission to Deemed University. As no separate entrance exam should be conducted for Deemed university MBBS admission 2021. For participating in the admission process of Deemed University NEET, aspirants need to register themselves entering their personal, academic, NEET 2021, communication, and other asked details. After registration, candidates also have to provide their choices of Deemed universities in which they wish to get admission.

Before every round of counselling, MCC will also release the Deemed University MBBS/BDS 2021 seat matrix. The counselling for Deemed university MBBS will be conducted in online mode. Along with Deemed MBBS/BDS admissions 2021, the authority will also conduct counselling for admission to 15% of All India Quota, Central universities, AFMS, and ESIC institutes.

Deemed university MBBS Admission 2021 - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for admission to MBBS in Deemed Universities is similar to the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria. Candidates who will be considered qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by NTA will be eligible for Deemed University MBBS Admission 2021. However, candidates belonging to the state of Jammu and Kashmir will not be considered in this case.

Eligibility Criteria for Deemed University MBBS admission



Qualifying Exam

10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.

Minimum Age Requirement

Candidates must have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2021.

Maximum Age Limit*

There is no upper age limit till the Supreme Court passes its judgment on it.
Qualifying Marks

UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)

Maximum Attempts

No limit on the permitted number of attempts.

Deemed University MBBS 2021 Application Form

As aforementioned, that the counselling for Deemed Universities is done by the MCC therefore the candidates do not need to fill a separate application form. The candidates will be required to register themselves on the website of MCC. On the basis of NEET score and rank the candidates will be invited to participate in the centralised counselling process. Deemed University NEET Admission 2021 - Counselling procedure

The counselling for Deemed Universities will be conducted in three rounds. Aspirants are advised to go through the below-mentioned points to know about the counseling procedure of Deemed University NEET 2021 admission.

  • Aspirants seeking admission in MBBS courses in the Deemed universities will be required to register themselves and pay the registration fee for the same on the MCC web portal in order to participate in the counselling process.

  • After registering, candidates are required to give their preference of course and institute in which they wish to get admission.

  • The process of seat allotment for each round will be done.

  • Based on the choices filled, scores, NEET reservation criteria 2021, seats available, and other aspects the admission to Deemed University will be granted.

  • Those who have been allotted a seat will be required to report at the said institute along with the relevant documents. Applicants will have the free entry/exit option available too.

  • The authority will then publish a list of vacant seats for the next round of Deemed NEET counseling 2021.

  • Eligible candidates will thus register and enter fresh choices and submit them for the second round of counseling (not required by already registered candidates).

  • The process of seat allotment will begin after which results will be published the same as round one.

  • A mop-up round is also organized by the authority in case there are seats left vacant after the conclusion of round one and two.

Deemed University MBBS 2021 Admission: Essential documents

At the time of admission or reporting at the allotted college, candidates will be required to furnish the following documents failing which candidates will not be allowed to take NEET admission in Deemed University.

  • NEET UG admit card 2021

  • NEET 2021 result

  • Date of Birth Certificate (if Class 10 Certificate does not bear the same)

  • Marksheet of Class 10 and 12

  • Eight Passport size photographs (same as provided on the application form)

  • Provisional allotment letter issued online

  • A valid ID proof (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

For Non-Residential Indians (NRI) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates following documents are required:

  • Passport copy of sponsorer
  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsor is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)
  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsor)
