For DU MBBS/BDS 2021 admissions, aspirants need to qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate - NEET UG entrance exam. Delhi University MBBS/BDS 2021 eligibility criteria

Before applying for DU MBBS admission 2021, it is important for aspirants to check the basic eligibility criteria to be fulfilled. Check basic DU NEET 2021 eligibility criteria for admission below.

Age:

As per the NEET eligibility criteria 2021, aspirants must have attained an age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2021 by the end of academic year.

Qualifying exam:

  • Students should have qualified/appearing in Class 12 exam under 10+2 system through CBSE/Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE)/Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi or any equivalent exam from any recognised school located in National Capital Territory (NCt) of Delhi only.

  • Also, medical candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or Pratachar Vidyalaya will also be eligible for DU MBBS admissions.

  • General applicants must secure at least 50% in Class 12 to appear for NEET exam, while 40% must be secured for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Also General PwD (Person with Disabilities) must obtain 45% in 10+2.

Entrance examination:

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG entrance test must be qualified. General medical aspirants must secure at least 50th percentile in NEET 2021, while SC/ST/OBC must obtain 40th percentile. However, as per NEET 2021 cutoff, the General-PH have to secure the 45th percentile. The category-wise cutoff percentile along with equivalent marks can be checked from the table below.

DU NEET application form 2021

Aspirants must fulfil the specified eligibility criteria as mentioned will be eligible to apply for DU MBBS/BDS admission 2021. DU MBBS/BDS application form 2021 can be filled in three following steps:

While filling the application form of DU MBBS 2021, aspirants need to enter their name, roll number, NEET application form 2021 number, date of birth, gender, category, mobile number, email ID and other required details. After the registration process, the login credentials will be sent to the registered email IDs. They also need to provide their academic, NEET-UG, communication and others.

DU NEET merit list 2021

Candidates whose applications will be accepted will be included in the merit list of DU MBBS 2021. DU NEET merit list 2021, will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained in NEET UG entrance exam. . The merit list for each round of counselling will be released separately. The seat allotment list published by MCC considered as the merit list of NEET DU 2021, which will mention All India Rank (AIR), category, colleges and other details. Shortlisted candidates included in DU MBBS merit list will be called for counselling process.

DU NEET counselling 2021

MCC conducts counselling of DU MBBS/BDS 2021. The authority conducts DU MBBS 2021 counselling in three rounds including a mop-up round. The centralised process for DU MBBS counselling 2021 will be held for allotment of seats to three medical and one dental college affiliated to the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMSc), Delhi University.

While registering for DU MBBS admissions, candidates need to provide their preferences of choices as well as courses, in which admission is desired. Based on the choices filled, NEET UG scores, seats availability, seats reserved and several factors, admission to DU MBBS/BDS 2021 will be granted.

DU MBBS admission 2021 with FMSc

After admission to DU MBBS/BDS 2021 colleges, the shortlisted aspirants need to visit the DU FMSc admission website for the registration process under 15% AIQ and 85% state quota seats, separately. The link to DU FMSc admission 2021 will be provided on this page when released. For DU MBBS/BDS admissions with FMSc, aspirants need to register themselves by entering their email ID, mobile number, roll number, date of birth, captcha code and other details. Now, aspirants need to submit the other required personal, academic, communication information as asked. After the completion of the registration process, selected candidates must report at the colleges for document verification.

DU MBBS 2021 admission - Document Verification

Following are the list of documents required for the admission process at the time of verification without which seats will not be reserved.

  • NEET result 2021

  • NEET UG admit card 2021

  • Recent passport size photographs

  • Demand draft of Rs. 1000

  • Following self-attested copies of the following:

  1. Aadhaar card

  2. Class 10/12 mark sheet

  3. Character certificate

  4. Caste certificate, if applicable

  5. Father’s caste certificate

  6. PWD certificate

  7. Non-creamy layer certificate, if required

  8. OCI card for Overseas Citizens of India

  1. School is located in NCT of Delhi
