Karnataka MBBS Admission 2022: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), Bangalore will conduct the Karnataka MBBS admission process 2022. A link to participate in the Karnataka NEET 2022 admissions will be provided on this page.

The admission to Karnataka MBBS, BDS 2022 will be done on the basis of scores obtained in NEET exam. The authority will release the Karnataka MBBS/BDS 2022 application form at their official website. Candidates will have to enter their personal, academic, NEET-UG, contact and other details in the Karnataka registration 2022.

Based on the details filled during registration, KEA will prepare the KEA NEET merit list 2022 that will include a list of candidates eligible for counselling process. The authority will conduct the Karnataka MBBS/BDS counselling 2022 for 85% state quota and 100% private colleges seats. During the counselling process, candidates will have to fill their courses and college preference. Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted institute along with original documents to reserve Karnataka MBBS admission 2022.

Through NEET Karnataka admissions, a total of 10,145 MBBS and 3,445 BDS seats will be granted. Admission to the remaining 15% All India Quota seats will be granted through NEET 2022 counselling and will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Karnataka MBBS admission 2022: Eligibility

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be able to participate in Karnataka MBBS/BDS 2022 admission. Check the detailed Karnataka MBBS eligibility criteria below.

  • Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible for Karnataka NEET admission 2022. NRI candidates can apply for NRI quota seats.

  • Academic qualifications: Candidates must pass 2nd PUC/ Class 12/ or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories must secure 40% minimum marks.

  • Subjects studied: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.

  • Domicile: To apply for admission to Karnataka MBBS 2022, candidates must belong to Karnataka domicile. Candidates who do not belong to the state can apply for open and other quota seats in private colleges. Candidates can apply for the Karnataka MBBS 2022 admission to government seats under the following criteria:

  • Candidates who have studied for a minimum seven years from a government or government recognized institution in Karnataka are eligible.

  • Candidates who have passed class 11 and 12 from Karnataka and whose parents have studied for seven years in Karnataka are eligible.

  • Candidates and either parent having Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava as mother tongue are eligible. Such candidates will have to undergo a Kannada language test.

  • Son/daughter of defence personnel who have passed class 11 and 12 from Karnataka are eligible.

  • NEET 2022 cutoff: To qualify the undergraduate medical entrance test, candidates must secure the NEET-UG cutoff. Check the category wise NEET cutoff 2022 from the below table.

KEA will release the Karnataka NEET application form at its official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will have to fill the Karnataka MBBS 2022 application form in online mode. While filling the application form of Karnataka MBBS 2022 students will have to fill their personal, academic, domicile, category, contact, and NEET-UG details.

After filling the application form, candidates will have to pay the prescribed Karnataka MBBS application fee 2022. During filling the Karnataka MBBS 2022 application form, aspirants must ensure that they submit correct information. Filling the incorrect information will lead to rejection of the application form. Karnataka MBBS application form 2022: Steps to fill

  • Registration: Applicants will have to register for Karnataka MBBS 2022 admission by filling their personal details and email address for communication purposes.

  • Login: Application ID and password will be sent to candidates’ registered email and mobile number. Registered candidates will then have to login using the credentials.

  • Filling Karnataka NEET application form: Candidates will have to fill their personal, category, address, class 10 and 12, and NEET 2022 details.

  • Upload documents: Once all the details are entered, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of coloured passport size photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression. It must be noted that all documents should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format.

  • Payment of application fee: For submitting the application form, candidates will have to pay the prescribed application fee of Karnataka MBBS application form 2022. The application fee must be paid via credit/debit card/net banking/bank challan.

  • Taking printout of Karnataka MBBS 2022 application form: Candidates must save the filled application form and take two-three printouts for the future use.

Karnataka MBBS admission 2022: Document verification

Once the application form is submitted, candidates will have to upload their documents for verification. Aspirants can check the steps of document verification given below.

Steps for document verification

  • Login by entering the application ID and password.

  • Upload the documents required for Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission in PDF format.

  • Verify the uploaded documents and make changes if required

  • An OTP will be received on registered mobile and email ID. Enter the OTP to submit the declaration.

  • After successful submission of documents, an acknowledgement slip will be generated. Save and take multiple printouts of the acknowledgement slip for future use. .

Candidates must note that the verification acknowledgement slip is an important document for Karnataka MBBS admission 2022. In the verification slip the details of the candidate, list of documents verified for Karnataka MBBS/BDS admission, category details, merit rank, and the security key are mentioned.

Before proceeding further, candidates should verify all the details mentioned in the acknowledgement slip and if any discrepancy is found, it should be immediately reported to the authority. The security key mentioned in the verification slip will be required by candidates during Karnataka NEET 2022 counselling. Thus, candidates must not share the security key with anyone.

Karnataka MBBS merit list 2022

KEA will publish the Karnataka MBBS 2022 merit list at their official website based on the NEET 2022 scores. Only those candidates will be included in the Karnataka MBBS 2022 merit list whose applications will be accepted. KEA will first release the provisional Karnataka MBBS/BDS merit list 2022 followed by the final merit list. The Karnataka NEET 2022 merit list will mention candidate details, NEET roll no, score, and All India Rank.

Karnataka MBBS counselling 2022

KEA Bangalore will conduct the Karnataka MBBS 2022 counselling in online mode. The authority will conduct three rounds of Karnataka MBBS/BDS counselling including a mop-up round in case of vacant seats. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible for Karnataka NEET 2022 counselling. During counselling, candidates will have to register online and fill their choices of courses and colleges for Karnataka MBBS admission 2022.

The authority will release the Karnataka MBBS seat allotment list based on the preferences filled by the candidates, seat matrix, reservation criteria, state merit rank, and NEET 2022 scores. Aspirants included in the Karnataka NEET 2022 seat allotment will have to pay the tuition fee and report to the allotted college. At the time of reporting, students must carry their original documents for verification.
