Kerala MBBS Admission 2021 - The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Thiruvananthapuram has opened the candidate portal for the submission of NEET 2021 scores for Kerala MBBS/BDS 2021 admission. Aspirants are required to submit the scores obtained by them in NEET-UG 2021 exam till November 24.

Based on the NEET scores provided by the eligible candidates, the competent authority will prepare the state merit list. Kerala NEET 2021 merit list will include the rank allotted to candidates based on the scores obtained by them in the medical entrance exam. CEE will then grant admission to 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in government and all the seats in self-financing/private medical and dental colleges in Kerala, through centralized counselling conducted in three phases.

In the counselling session, candidates will be required to fill their choice of course and colleges before the last mentioned dates. Based on the choices filled by the aspirants in the choice filling session, NEET scores and seat availability, seats to 3,182 (MBBS) 2,077 (BDS) courses in Kerala will be granted. Candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to report to the allotted colleges to complete the admission process. Earlier, the authorities opened the Kerala MBBS application form window facility till June 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Kerala MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2021

Aspirants must check the Kerala MBBS eligibility criteria before filling the KEAM NEET application form 2021. The eligibility criteria for admission to Kerala MBBS BDS is mentioned below-

  • Age limit - Candidates must be at least 17 years of age. Aspirants crossing the upper age limit of NEET i.e. 25 years and above (30 years and above for reserved category candidates) are eligible to take NEET 2021, however, whether they will be eligible for Kerala MBBS admission will be declared by the Supreme Court.

  • Educational Qualification- Aspirants are required to pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English by scoring qualifying marks in each of these subjects. Along with this, candidates need to pass in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) in Class 12th with at least 50% (40% for SC/ST category and 45% for SEBC) in aggregate.

  • Nativity - For admission to 85% seats of government colleges and 50% seats of private colleges, candidates need to show that they are Indian citizens of Kerala origin.

  • NEET 2021 Qualification- Only those candidates who will qualify NEET 2021 with at least 50th percentile (45th percentile for UR-PH candidates and 40th percentile for reserved category candidates) will be eligible for Kerala MBBS admission 2021.

Kerala MBBS BDS Application Form 2021

The authority has started the second phase of the application form of Kerala NEET 2021. In the second phase, candidates are required to enter their NEET UG scores. After the conclusion of the registration process, the authority will release the Kerala MBBS merit list which will allot state rank to all the candidates on the grounds of their NEET scores. Candidates seeking admission to Kerala NEET courses had to fill the application form in the online mode. It is to be noted that in order to submit the application form successfully, candidates had to submit the application fee through credit/debit cards, net banking, and E-challan.

Kerala MBBS BDS Merit List 2021

After the conclusion of the registration process, CEE will publish a list of candidates who are eligible for Kerala NEET counselling process in the online mode. Candidates who will qualify NEET 2021 exam and will successfully apply for Kerala MBBS/BDS admission 2021 by filling the application form will be considered for the inclusion in the merit list of Kerala MBBS 2021. Kerala MBBS merit list 2021 will mention an allotted ‘state rank’ to the candidates on the basis of their NEET UG scores. Besides state rank, Kerala MBBS 2021 merit list also cites candidate’s roll number, NEET score, NEET rank, etc. Along with publishing an overall merit list, CEE also publishes a separate category-wise merit list of Kerala MBBS 2021 for PwD, NRI and minority quota candidates.

Kerala MBBS BDS Counselling 2021

The Kerala NEET counselling 2021 will be conducted through online Centralised Admission Process (CAP in three phases - first, second and mop-up round. Based on the choices filled by the candidates, seats will be allotted seats in various MBBS and BDS colleges. Since the mode of conduct of Kerala MBBS counselling is online, candidates will be required to submit web options for submitting preferences. The result of Kerala MBBS counselling will be released in the online mode in the form of seat allotment list. The list will contain the name of the candidates, the course and college allotted, the category of seat and candidate’s category. Candidates whose names are included in the Kerala MBBS BDS seat allotment must report to the allotted college between the given time to take admission.

Kerala MBBS NEET Cutoff 2021

NEET 2021 cutoff Kerala will be declared after the conclusion of the Kerala MBBS counselling process. Kerala MBBS NEET cutoff signifies the closing rank and its equivalent score considered for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The cutoff will be released in online mode only. Kerala MBBS cutoff 2021 will be published for 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota seats, individually. CEE will release the NEET cutoff Kerala for state quota seats, on the other hand, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the cutoff for All India Quota seats.
