Maharashtra NEET counselling 2021 - The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra has released the mop up round Maharashtra NEET 2021 selection list for state quota seats of MBBS/BDS Courses. Earlier, authorities has released the round 1 & 2 Maharashtra NEET 2021 counselling result for AYUSH and nursing courses at cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021. Maharashtra NEET counselling will be conducted for admission to 85% seats under state quota and 100% seats in private medical colleges in the state. Through Maharashtra NEET counselling, a total of 9,000 MBBS and 3,526 BDS seats in the state will be filled. On the basis of NEET 2021 marks, state merit rank, choices filled, reservation criteria, seat matrix, and other factors, DMER will allot through Maharashtra MBBS counselling 2021. The Maharashtra MBBS/BDS seat allotment list round one has been published in an online mode, the link to which is provided above. Candidates allotted MBBS/BDS seats in the Maharashtra NEET counselling 2021 will have to report to the allotted college for document verification, fee payment, and reserving admission.

Maharashtra MBBS counselling 2021 process
The authority will conduct the counselling of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2021 in an online mode. Only registered candidates who will be included in the state merit list will be eligible for Maharashtra MBBS 2021 counselling. It must be noted that to secure a seat through Maharashtra MBBS counselling, it is mandatory for candidates to qualify the NTA NEET 2021 exam. Step 1: Login
To participate in the counselling process, candidates need to register and fill the Maharashtra MBBS 2021 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be allotted login credentials - username and password. During the counselling of Maharashtra MBBS 2021, candidates will have to login using these credentials and fill their choices of courses and colleges.
Step 2: College code
To fill the choices for courses and colleges for Maharashtra NEET counselling 2021, candidates will have to choose the respective code. Each code for Maharashtra MBBS counselling, will be a combination of four numbers along with alphabets S and N. S suffix in the college code will represent state quota while N suffix will be for NRI quota. Thus, candidates must wisely fill their college code during Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling according to the seat quota they wish to apply for. Candidates will have to choose a minimum of one choice for Maharashtra NEET 2021 counselling.
Step 3: Submitting choices for Maharashtra NEET counselling
Candidates must carefully check all the choices they will fill for counselling of Maharashtra MBBS 2021. After filling the choices, students should click on the ‘submit’ option and lock their choices for Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling. Since there is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill in Maharashtra MBBS 2021 counselling, it is advised to fill as many choices as possible. During Maharashtra NEET counselling, the choice filling facility is provided only once to candidates. Thus, candidates must fill their preferences of courses and colleges wisely.
Step 4: Maharashtra MBBS 2021 seat allotment
Authority will release the seat allotment list of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2021 on the basis of preferences submitted by candidates, NEET 2021 result, state merit rank, reservation criteria, eligibility conditions, and availability of seats. DMER will publish the Maharashtra NEET 2021 seat allotment list on its website. Shortlisted candidates will have any one of the below mentioned four situations after Maharashtra MBBS counselling.
Situation 1:
The candidate is satisfied with a seat allotted during Maharashtra NEET 2021 counselling and does not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling.
Such candidates will have to download their admission letter and report to the allotted institute for Maharashtra MBBS admission 2021.
Such candidates will also have to submit a status retention form by the date set by DMER.
Situation 2:
Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted to them during Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling 2021 round one but wish to upgrade their seat in the next round of counselling.
Such candidates too need to download their admission letter and report to the allotted college. In case the seat is upgraded in the second round of Maharashtra MBBS 2021 counselling, the last allotted seat will be cancelled.
Situation 3:
Candidates who do not wish to join the seat alloted in the first round of counselling or wish to cancel their admission after Maharashtra MBBS counselling 2021 round one.
Such candidates will not be eligible for the CAP or mop-up rounds of Maharashtra MBBS/BDS counselling.
Situation 4:
Candidates who do not wish to accept Maharashtra NEET 2021 admission or participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.

Step 6: Payment of fee
After document verification during Maharashtra MBBS/BDS college reporting, candidates will be required to pay the course fee. The amount can be paid using Demand Draft from any nationalised bank/scheduled bank in favour of Dean/Principal as applicable. The last rank at which DMER will grant admission is the Maharashtra MBBS/BDS 2021 cutoff. Authority will announce the cutoff of Maharashtra NEET 2021 at the official website.
