Only candidates fulfilling the NEET eligibility criteria can register for NEET UG exam. How to fill NEET application form 2021?

Step 1 – NEET Registration 2021

To fill NEET 2021 application form, candidates required to click on 'fill application form'. In the new page, click on 'New registration' which will lead to the instructions page which must be read carefully. Then, click on a declaration that instructions have been read.

In the NEET-UG registration process, fill in the details in the below manner. A password must also be created as per the given specifications which will be the password for all future login. A provisional application number will be generated after registration for NEET 2021 login. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to login 2021.

The following details must be entered during NEET 2021 registration:

  • Candidate's Name

  • Mother's Name

  • Father's Name

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • State of Eligibility

  • Category

  • Person with Disabilities

  • Identification Type

  • Security Pin (as displayed on the screen)

Choose Password: The next step would be to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question and chose the answer. Keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.

To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the above details and submit them.

Generation of Provisional Application Number of NEET 2021 – With successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down as it is the NEET 2021 login ID for all future logins.

Particulars checklist to be verified - Candidates need to verify all the details by clicking on each section. No one will be allowed to proceed without ticking on the particulars. Aspirants are advised to verify all the details carefully, as no one will be make changes.

Step 2 – Filling up the NEET 2021 application form

After completing the registration process. candidates have to click on 'Complete Application Form' as shown in the image below. Login using the provisional registration number and password. It is mandatory to fill remaining details in the application form of NEET 2021. The other details to be filled in the NEET 2021 application form are:

Section 2. Apply for - The entrance exam - NEET - will be filled in by default. Then, aspirants need to provide the following details:

  • Medium of NEET question paper - The exam paper will be conducted in 13 languages - English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannda, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Step 3 – Uploading of scanned documents and images

After filling out the details in the application form of NEET 2021, the next step is to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as specified. Candidates need to click on 'upload documents'

  • Passport Photograph: It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and date of photograph underneath the image. Size of the file can be 10 kb to 200 kb in JPEG format.

  • Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on a white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG format.

  • Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of the left-hand thumb impression on white paper with blue ink in JPG format and the size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

  • Postcard size photo: Apart from the passport size photo, candidates are required to upload postcard size photograph in JPG format with size between 10 kb to 200 kb.

Step 4 – Payment of NEET Application Fee

NEET 2021 application fee can be paid in online mode only:

After the uploading of documents as per the specifications, the option to pay NEET application fee 2021 will appear on the screen. Click on 'pay examination fee'. The application fee of NEET UG-2021 must be paid in online mode. NEET registration fee varies for general, OBC/ST/SC and EWS categories. Candidates must ensure that the Credit/Debit card used for payment is within the validity period. For net banking, it is advisable to check the balance of the account and keep all the credentials ready before logging on to submit the application form.

Online Payment: Through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider.

Step 5 – Printing the NEET Acknowledgement receipt

  • Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgement receipt will be generated. This means that the application of NEET 2021 has been successfully submitted.

  • A copy of the NEET acknowledgement or confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well the mobile number of the candidates.

  • Candidates are advised to save this acknowledgement receipt for future reference. They are also advised to take a printout of the same for reference.

How to retrieve password for NEET application form 2021?

There are two methods to retrieving it. However, before going to that, there are a few steps they must follow.

Correction of image discrepancy in NEET 2021 application form

NTA will intimate all registered students about the image discrepancy which must be corrected before the last date. Any modifications or corrections to the photograph/signature could be done using the login facility given by NTA or even with the correction window. Candidates must follow the steps below to correct any discrepancies in their photograph or signature uploaded with the NEET application form 2021:

  • Click on the 'NEET candidate login' link provided here

  • Enter the NEET application number and password

  • The option to upload the photograph/signature will be displayed on the screen.

  • Upload the correct images as per the given specifications.

  • Verify once before submitting it.

  • After submission, an OTP number will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidates

  • After the given OTP number is entered, the NEET correction slip will be displayed on the screen.

  • It is advised to safe keep this printout for future reference.

NEET correction window 2021

The correction window for NEET application form 2021 will be available, only for registered candidates. A link for online NEET UG 2021 correction window will be provided above. Aspirants have to edit any details and exam cities choices in the NEET application form 2021. Candidates can use the NEET application form correction guide to edit the mistakes made or incorrect details entered in the application form as well as the exam centers by the specified date.   • Candidates were required to click on the link provided on this page

  • Enter the NEET 2021 application number and password

  • Click here for correction in NEET (UG) 2021 Application Form

  • Once the application form of NEET 2021 is displayed, candidates can edit the fields mentioned above

  • After making the relevant corrections in the NEET application form 2021, click on 'Preview and Submit'

  • An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates.

  • Enter the OTP number and click on 'Final Submit'

  • A warning message will pop-up on the screen, which asks, 'This is the one-time correction facility, no correction will be allowed after final submission. Do you wish to submit the corrected application form finally?'

  • Click on 'Please do' to submit the corrections or else click on 'oops no' to go back and make some other corrections.

  • After submitting the corrections, the NEET application correction slip will be displayed on the screen with the corrected information.

  • It is advised to take three to four printouts of correction slip.
